Digital solution insures your crew is working off the most updated set of project documents
Plans and drawings are an integral part of every construction job. But lugging giant rolls of drawings to the field and having to unroll them on the job site for every reference is a pain. Plus, it’s hard to know whether your guys are working off the latest revisions.
HCSS has a new solution to these field issues. HCSS Plans is an easy-to-use digital plan and job site document management system that allows you to upload and publish any PDF set of plans, perform takeoffs digitally, and add markups that your entire field can see instantly.
You can mark revisions with clouds, link to call-outs, or mark off key areas using polygons, then add notes, photos, audio clips, or even short videos. All changes are seen instantly to ensure your crew is always working off the most updated set of plans and building correctly the first time.
“We had a serious issue getting secondary documents (plan revisions, shop drawings, etc.) out to the field in a timely and consistent manner,” Ed Bell Construction Project Manager Phillippe Falkner said. “HCSS Plans has eliminated that issue entirely, and now I feel like we have the best-informed field supervisors in the area.”
HCSS Plans document storage capabilities allow you to upload project documents, manuals, specifications, safety documents, and more, eliminating the need to lug around heavy books or tons of paperwork. You can even export to share documents and information with clients and stakeholders, reducing the risk of issues and rework.
HCSS Plans will be available as a web and mobile app for your computer and iOS device starting in December 2017.
