HCSS HeavyJob: What Foremen and Crews Actually Think

The HCSS product helps me be a better foreman, because there's just I don't have to devote as much time, whether it be paper time sheets or paper prints. It makes the job easier for the foreman. I actually have time to go dedicate, you know, help the crew out. Before, I'd have a stack of papers this big to fill out and keep track of myself, and I don't have space for that now. It's all right here. A lot of people are still old school, so they have a hard book, and they put everybody's time down and everything. I don't want more paperwork than I already have, you know. So the application saves a lot of paperwork. It's a lot easier to help us carry around an iPad or something of that nature, versus pulling out a set of plans all the time. Also have GPS on the iPad, so if you're unsure on the page of where you are, if you can zoom in and see where you're at on the project, you know that you're looking at, well, you're supposed to be looking at and you don't have to, you know, run around and go get paper plans or anything like that. Favorite part about using HeavyJob is time cards and sharing sheets and the polygons. So I guess I have three favorites. I will tell us they were intended hanger missing hours for this day and within two minutes the information is there. I mean guys get paid quicker, it's more accurate. There's less discrepancies. The photo option, the notes. So I just put the notes down. You don't have to call me. I don’t have to write it down on a piece of paper. Oh, you know, this is what I did. And it keeps everybody on the same page because everybody's in the same app and it keeps the the flow of communication direct. I couldn't imagine trying to go back to having 250 pages of blueprints, tracking time by hand. It just wouldn't be as efficient to go back to the old way.
