HeavyBid can save you time and effort by copying completed work from past estimates or the estimates you are currently working in. In my tree view here, any items that do not have a plus do not have any activities underneath them currently. To complete these, if I go to the double clipboard to get into my copy screen, on the right side you can see the estimate that I'm currently in. On the left side, it begins in this estimate as well.
If I have company favorites set up, or estimates that I currently copy from, I can use those. I can also use any other recent estimate that I've copied from. Or, I have the most recent here. So there are a couple shortcuts to get you the estimate you want quickly.
Otherwise, I can copy from any past estimate that I've worked in. If I go into this paving estimate, you can see on the right, I have nothing in excavation roadway. On the left, if I expand that, you can see there's been work completed. I can select at the bid item level or at the activity level.
Say the bid I'm working in does not have drill and blast rock needed. I can then just check off the activities that I actually wanna copy. I then just grab those activities and drag them to the item on the right. Here are the activities, it automatically adjusts my quantity to the new quantity in the bid.
I can also go in and round those, if I would like, on the way in. And then simply copy. With a few clicks, it's copied the completed work into the new estimate. I can also copy as I'm working in the estimate.
If I were working and I completed the type A inlet, I also have this type C inlet. I can simply grab that bid item and drop it on bid item 70. Here, it's gonna copy the activities down. I can modify the description, because now I'm working in type C inlet.
You can see it's also adjusted my quantity for me, and I can simply copy that. So now, I have the completed work that was in the type A inlet in the type C as well.
Improve productivity dramatically by copying from previous bids and automatically computing numbers.
