HCSS Telematics integrates with Heavy Job which is our job costing software. So right now, we're looking at the mobile application version of Heavy Job. HCSS Telematics can push engine run time hours into Heavy Job to help your foreman populate his time card. Simply go to the bottom and tap on Copy/Pull Info.
Tap on Pull in GPS Hours, and your schedule has been populated. On the manager side, Heavy Job pulls in equipment hours from HCSS Telematics to help keep your foreman accountable. You can use the GPS Exception report inside of Heavy Job manager, which is what we're looking at right now to compare the run time hour of the machine that's pulled from HCSS Telematics to the hours your foreman recorded. Let's see how we do that for the Hanbury Job.
So select the Hanbury Job on the left. Now go up to reports. Click on Overview. On the left here, you see the GPS Equipment Exception, double click, and let's set the correct date for that.
Let's say I want to see it for the last two months. Let's set it to print. This report gives you all the information you need to identify which piece of machine you're looking at, but the most important thing that it shows you is the GPS hours, which is the column on the right there. You can see how many hours the machine ran versus the Heavy Job hours, the column right next to that shows the number of hours your foreman recorded.
So you can see that this Komatsu has been running every single day from November 1st to the 15th yet none of these hours have been recorded up until the 16th when Jones recorded it for two hours even though it only ran for .7 hours.
Pull meter readings into HeavyJob to reduce double entry, verify usage hours, and get more accurate reports of equipment hours and true-up crew-lead reported hours.
