All right, we can go ahead and get started. So good morning, everyone. Thank you for joining us for our monthly HeavyJob webinar. My name is Sara. I'm a product marketer here at HCSS. And as Adam was saying, wanted to remind everyone, if you have any questions, go ahead and put those in the Q and A box, we'll answer them via chat on the back end or live during the webinar. Today we have a couple of topics that we wanted to cover. We have Jonathan Knudson, who is our technical product manager, who will be going over my field hours into HeavyJob web. We also have a little in case you missed it, and we'll have Aneel Bhimani for talking about photo modules revamp into the HeavyJob app. And then as always, a question and answer at the end. So with that, I'll go ahead and hand it off to our speakers. Alright. Thank you much. I think I may have lost permission to change the slides, Sara. If you can add that back or just go to the next one. Alright. You got it. Awesome. Alright. So first things first, we're gonna talk about the pulling my field hours into the web time card. If you've been keeping up with our webinars, we talked about this in the spring release, and we are excited to announce that we have started the beta testing. In fact, some of the folks here in our joining us today are part of our beta cohort. If you would like to join that group, go ahead and scan that QR code there. Thanks to Matt Fidler for that one. He, he, fulfilled my request of having a little dinosaur in the middle of it, so I feel very seen today. But, yeah, scan that QR code. I'll also put the link in the chat just in case anybody doesn't have their their phone handy for scanning. I shared that to host and panelists. Let me share that with everybody real quick. Okay. So you've got two ways to get to that survey. Fill it out. Not everyone is a perfect candidate for beta testing, but we can definitely have that discussion, and and most folks are able to join. Just keep in mind that, you know, we're still working out some bugs. There's actually two bug cards that we have in progress based off of the beta testing we've done already. So, we're not quite ready to just, you know, hit the ground running full speed with this feature. It's more along the lines of, hey. Let's let's get one to three users trying this out, but still having the the pull on the iPad as the backup, still, you know, reviewing the time cards and the hours that were pulled in just to make sure everything's looking the way it's expected. So overall, though, we are very excited about this. We've got some really cool stuff in the works. We've heard from a lot of our customers just overall that, you know, hey. We've got more guys in the field that are now either bringing their own laptops or we've got a company laptop that they're using. For those of us those of you that have been using HeavyJob for a long time, you remember we actually started with laptops with the original HeavyJob mobile, if you call it that. We transitioned to the iPads, which was a much better experience data wise. And now that we've got folks using other AI tools and things like that out in the field, you know, we've got some folks that are using laptops or other types of tablets too. So we wanna accommodate that. Part of that is pulling the MyField hours in the web, and we've also got some other exciting stuff in the works like pulling GPS hours and other things that you are used to experiencing in the iPad. So, yeah, Fiddler mentioned, don't forget the PalmPilots. BlackBerrys, I think, are actually coming back around. I yeah. Anyways, I'll stick to the point here. Let's talk a little bit about some of the functionality that you guys will see once we are out of beta and this is released to everybody. So I think the main thing to keep in mind is that overall, we're really trying to mimic the mobile functionality. Aneel and Cassie and the mobile teams have done a really good job of of just making this a really solid feature that works well for folks. So we wanna do as much as we can to have that similar workflow. There may be a few extra clicks involved just because of the nature of the the setup and web versus iPad, but the overall pull, we're trying to get it as close as possible. So one difference you might see in the web versus mobile is that the time card must be started in order to pull hours in. So in on the iPad, when you hop into the time card module, you're already halfway there because you're logged in as a single user. You've already selected a job, and you clicked on the time card so it knows you're there. You know? In web, we have the ability to create time cards for ourselves and others. So there's a few more steps you need to, you know, get that time card started, you know, select a cost code or at least open the time card before you'll see that pull hours button. Those hours can be pulled into a new time card, as you can see in this screenshot here, or in into a revised time card. So if somebody's, you know, already submitted one from mobile, but maybe, you know, you've got some MyField users that are still getting used to the app and they haven't logged their hours for the day. Or somebody called in and said, hey. You know what? I just hit submit. I went back and edited those hours. You can pull those again. And the idea is that only previously pulled hours will be overwritten. For those of us in the beta testing, that's one of the bugs that we're addressing right now. So but similarly, if no cost code is entered in my field, then only those employee hours and schedules will pull into the time card. That's something we're actually working on in the beta testing as well. But, again, just trying to copy the mobile functionality as much as possible. So for those that are just joining, keep in mind that you will not see this functionality in web today unless you are part of the beta testing. So we'll probably have a few more weeks of beta testing at least that we wanna get all the bugs ironed out and make sure everybody, you know, is satisfied with the workflow. And then we'll let you know once we pull the trigger and get this released to everybody in the wild. So it looks like we've got a question here. Okay. From Sara. For pulling hours on the web, are the employees supposed to be sorted by alpha on their last name or code? That would be helpful like the iPad. Okay. I'm not sure exactly what the sorting order is. I'll have to do some testing on that, but that's a that's a good callout. We'll take a look at that as well. I seem to be pulling in my time sent at the moment. Good deal. Okay. Any other questions about the MyField functionality? Let's I I'm I'm gonna go ahead and ask, how many people on the call, as a representative sample of the stronger users across stronger users across our HeavyJob platform. I do feel like we get to pick the litter that actually show up for webinars. So across the two hundred people on the call right now, how many of y'all are using MyField? And I do want to clarify how many of y'all at your companies are using MyField, even if you are not clocking in yourself. That is okay, but your companies are using MyField. And so letting everybody answer that. I'll I'll end it. People keep answering. Alright. I'll end it right now. Alright. And share the results. So looks like a slight bare majority of fifty percent are using MyField, which is great. A little bit less not using it. And for the eight of y'all out there, you know, come stop by the office when you're when you're done with it when we're done with this meeting, and we'll we'll have a conversation about what my field is. But a a great tool to help with clock ins clock in, clock out, be able to see your schedules now from Resource Planner, do inspections on your equipment. It's it's it right now, it's tying into almost all of our all of our modules and platforms, so it's pretty cool. So I'd say worth including. We don't we don't have a ton of people that use MyField just to see the hours, but for zero dollars extra, which I always enjoy getting to say, you can give all of your hourly employees access and they can see the turned in hours from their foreman. So if you want to remind them, hey, on Monday, just double check and make sure that last week looks good before we process payroll. That way you as the employee can be in control of your hours and double check and make sure that everything looks double thumbs up. Very cool kind of HRE tool, in addition to the real reason we built it for the punch in punch out and being able to do inspections and see skills and all that other good stuff. Worth sharing if you didn't know. That that's a great great point, Matt, there. Yep. Yeah. And in order to do that, like Matt mentioned, there's no charge for that functionality, the review functionality. They just need to have an account set up within credentials, set up as a MyField user. Call support if you wanna get that going. But that's one of the big reasons why we created MyField the way it is versus just having a clock in, clock out app is because we wanted employees to be able to review those hours. We know it saves you guys money and time as well if you can avoid cutting extra checks because somebody said, hey. You know what? Oh, this got missed, or I was actually, you know, there that day, and it's marked as off. So catching those early is is a great way to make payroll more accurate. Cassie and her team have also been doing a great job adding new features in around regulations. Prevailing wage work is coming soon, so there's some really cool stuff in the pipeline from my field. So if you've considered it in the past and it wasn't a good fit, it might be time to check it out again or try out that free version that that Matt mentioned. We we did get a couple more questions coming in on this topic, so let me let me hit you with them. Roland's asking, when pulling hours, can we have the option to not overwrite the hours for previously pulled hours? If HeavyJob was adjusted by pulling the hours, it clears out any adjusted hours. So, yeah, we'll definitely take that into consideration. So and and just to clarify, you know, if if you've got, you know, other Costcos or other employees that you've added, all that stays the way it is even with the pull. Once we get the the beta bug fixed, it it should only, you know, overwrite the existing pulled hours. So, basically, updates might be a better word versus overriding. Alright. Another one here. Matthew's asking, can the iPad be used for remote signature for the time card? So the foreman's iPad. So more of a question on an Aneel side of the line going into mobile right now. But can the iPad be used for remote signature for time cards so that so the Foreman's iPad is not being passed around, etcetera? So I'm gonna I'm gonna read into this a little bit Aneel and then let you answer it. Okay so right now in the field that in the foreman's app in HeavyJob the foreman fills out the time card and can have each of the employees on the time card sign it there. Sounds like that is not desired by what Matthew is saying. Okay. So the obvious thing which is what Fiddler was pointing out is that for zero dollars extra, can have each of your employees on the crew have the ability to sign on the time card. Sorry. Sign their hours from the time card on their own personal devices, which is a great feature, which we do give to you for free. So that is the free version of MyField. What I believe Matthew is asking is is there a way that they could set up probably an old iPad to be used as a kiosk to purely sign hours? So not for clock in, clock out, but a iPad to be used to sign hours. And so the answer to that is no. We do not have that ability right now, but that is something that if if we get strong enough push from our users, we try and think about that. Obviously, we can sign hours on the iPad today, but it's is that foreman's time card looking, and we can sign them on the mobile devices for the phones for the for the employees. So I have recommended that as a pitch for anybody that doesn't want, oh, I don't want to install a thing on my my phone. That's my phone. I don't want to do that. It's like, cool. You need to see your foreman and sign off on his iPad at the end of the day, or you can put it on your phone and then you can sign off and then you don't have to wait for the other guys that don't want to put it on their phone. So there's a good incentive, personal reason for you to have it on your phone so that way you can sign off at the end of the day and say these are my hours, I left work in the same condition that I came in, and any other question you want to have in there. Good incentive to be able to handle it on your own phone instead of having to give your form and a high five at the end of the day before you're done. And Elizabeth, I see you've got your hand raised there. I don't think there's a way for us to actually hear your question if you're asking it, but if you click on that q and a or chat section, you should be able to just type in your question there, and we'll we'll get that answered for you. Okay. Couple other questions before we move on. So for PAGA, does the start stop time show per cost codes yet? I believe the answer is not yet, but soon. Aneel, is that correct? We're we've got a release coming in the pipeline for that? That's correct. Yeah. We just started the work a couple of weeks ago. So that hopefully late q three, it'll be out definitely by end of the year, but we'll get that work done across Android and iOS and then also on web. That is definitely on in process. And for those of you that aren't familiar with that legislation in your state, you know, there's there's still a lot of usefulness coming out of the features that we're building for that. So if you're dealing with any folks that are are doing prevailing wage work or union work where they really need to be broken out into specific pay classes, have certain numbers of meal or rest breaks, or or just any, you know, any rules like that that you're trying to implement, those are gonna be really useful for you as well. Okay. Let's see. I think Suzanne is asking how so how come the option to add a third and fourth rest break is not available for hybrid companies. So we we recently added the ability on the iPad and on the web to be able to log a third and fourth, I believe, lunch break and then a up to six perhaps rest breaks, if I'm remembering correctly, Aneel. Correct. Right? Yeah. That's correct. Okay. Up to four meals and six break rest breaks. Right. So those were recent recent ish additions to our time card. The question is, how come they are web only and not hybrid? And I'll take that one. We do our best to try and get most of the functionality to be both hybrid and web only. And we do apologize when sometimes we're just limited. In this particular case, it would have required extensive database changes and work on the desktop side. And there's an incompatibility issue in trying to make it backwards working. And it was just too too big of a lift for us, and so we said this is gonna be web only. So we do apologize, Suzanne. If there's a if there's a way that we can help you in terms of converting or or thinking about converting, we'd be happy to to engage on that. But at the moment, that is a feature that's that's gonna have to be have to be on the web only side of the line. Sorry. Then in relation to some of the MyField conversation that we're having, Mike, you were asking there is a charge in order to do equipment reports even if not doing time entry with MyField though. Right? And that is correct. Yeah. So MyField does have the ability to do equipment inspections. That's not part of the free functionality, though. So the the the free part is, you know, employees being able to check their own hours and and sign for those hours. Alright. And, Matthew, I'm assuming you're talking about the beta testing or maybe a specific feature. I think Matthew was pushing for the the the old iPad used as a signature as a signature kiosk only. So he's helping to Gotcha. He's Matthew, let's let's talk. We may wanna try and and figure out how many other other companies would benefit from that as well, but we can definitely definitely look into that. Why don't we do one more question here from Roland, and then we'll we'll move on. And any other questions, by all means, we'll hit them up towards the end. So Okay. Sounds good. Christian was asking, is the pull hours beta feature in place of first pulling MyField hours into HeavyJob via the iPad? You'll be able to do both. You can still have folks in the field pulling those hours. You can have people in the web, you know, repulling hours if they've been updated, or you could have you know, we've got some use cases where, hey. We've got folks in the office that also log your time in HeavyJob, and we don't want to have to buy an iPad just for them to be able to do that. So they can use that directly in web as well. So a couple different use cases there. But, yeah, it's not it's not gonna be, you know, one or the other. Okay. So moving right along just to make sure we can get to everything here. So we talked about some of the functionality. I wanna hop on to the next section that I have been calling in case you missed it. So we've had some great safety stuff, some HeavyJob Docs and Plan stuff in the last couple webinars. And usually in these webinars, we have, you know, bigger feature releases that we like to talk about, which is great, but there's also been several smaller ones that that might be easy to miss, but kinda have, you know, the small but mighty functionality that may really help with your workflows. So I wanted to kinda go through, and Aneel's got a couple to talk about as well, but just wanted to make sure that you guys were aware of some of these smaller releases just in case you missed it. So first off, within the daily report, we've got some folks that are using this for billing purposes. And if you're using multiple jobs, especially for our short cycle folks that are that are cranking through lots of jobs every week, this can get really tedious to, you know, export these all to specific PDFs, whether it's in a big batch and then you're separating those out or doing an export for every single job and then running the filters again. So what we allowed you to do with this update is basically run the filters for the report that you want. But then when you go to print to PDF, you have an option there to print separate PDFs for each job. And, basically, what that'll do is just with the within the back end, it will split those out into separate PDFs, put it all into one single zip file to make it nice and easy to manage on your desktop, and then you can unzip that and and separate those out, email those to the right folks, and and do what you need to do. We tried to make the the title of the individual PDFs as descriptive as possible so they're easy to find as well. So tried to really accelerate that workflow and make it a lot easier to handle some of those admin tests. Because there is more going on in the background, there might be a little extra load time required. So just keep that in mind as as you are running that report there. Alright. Samantha asked, can we make this report so we can have all data on one page? Yes. That's still an option. Just don't check that separate PDF box, and it will behave the way that it always did. And let's see. I thought we had another question, but it looks like we've got some folks that are they're happy about this feature. So glad to hear it. This was one that came in for a couple of specific customers, but we were like, hey. This is gonna be really useful for folks that that build this way. Okay. This is one that's been more of a a buzzing mosquito in the background with some of our web users that we finally swatted. For those of you that are using the pay item setup or the cost code setup, you may have noticed depending on your cost code structure that sometimes it just gets into a really funky ordering. And, you know, that can make it tough to as you're scanning down or looking for a specific cost code, you know, we're still usually able to search or sort for the different things, but it it was just kind of a pain. Right? So we wanted to get a more natural sorting order that allowed for many different combinations of coding structures. Some people have leading zeros. Some people have alphanumeric codes. And so, not saying that this works for every single possibility, but, you know, it's gonna be a lot better. So let us know if if there's still some coding structures that don't work there, but we've we've tried just about every combination that we saw in the datasets, and this seems to work for most of them. So in the past I do wanna say that that is the flexibility of HeavyJob and the inflexibility of HeavyBid that has caused this issue. Because primarily on pay items like this, the bid items in HeavyBid are numeric only, and they do not allow alphanumeric. And we have always been wanting to remain flexible to the needs of our customers on the HeavyJob side of things and allow them to put in alphanumeric in there. Unfortunately, that has led to issues with sorting when they come over from HeavyJob. Just mention that. Yep. Yes. Thank you for mentioning that. We wanna make that export from HeavyBid to HeavyJob as streamlined as possible. We're actually working on some back end items. Just a side note real quick, but for HeavyJob or HeavyBid web, the basic version and the advanced version that they're working on as well to get those over from HeavyBid to HeavyJob seamlessly, kind of the way we were used to the Direct Link for those of you that remember the the legacy software connecting between the two. And that's one other thing that we've considered for future improvements is to maintain that order from HeavyBid as well. So right now, the system's, you know, just trying to make it sort as logically as possible, but we've got some some future improvements that we're we're thinking about as well. But you'll see this update in the pay item setup, the cost code setup, progress billing, T and M billing detail and summary, and the other job specific setups for employees equipment in the MSC setup. Michelle asked, why do all items from the HeavyBid from HeavyBid show underpay items and not just the ones that you pulled in? That may have to do with the the export settings for HeavyBid. Give us a call at support if you're seeing that. I don't think that's the expected behavior there. Alright. Carly asked, any options to be able to bulk load pay items across multiple jobs? I believe that may be an option with our bulk import. If you have a template job that's set up with those pay items, I'd have to test it out to be sure. But let's let's talk more about that. Aneel, did you have anything you wanted to add on that one? Yeah. That sounds right. That's where my mind went to with the bulk import. I believe that's what it's meant for is multi add in bulk to multi jobs multiple jobs. Yeah. And and that's a feature that we added fairly recently. So, yeah, if you have any questions about this, shoot us an email or give us a call at support, and we'll let you know. And, Samantha, I see what your clarification there about the daily report. I can follow-up with you on that. That that's an issue that we've looked at in the past and just haven't found the best solution for yet. Okay. Moving along with some of our smaller items. So viewing and editing employee notes in the time card adjustment tool. We had conversations with several different customers that said, hey. You know, as I'm going through and, you know, we love the time card adjustment tool. It's a very powerful tool. We can make some of these sweeping changes. But sometimes we need to either see the employee notes to add more context on what the hours are or any changes that need to be made or that were made. Or we need to clean those up because we actually export those out in the in the payroll export or something along those lines. So just to make it easier to manage and easier to have that visibility, we added the ability to both view and edit those notes in the time card adjustment tool. If you're not seeing the option to edit, be sure to add add that edit column under the employee notes section. That's where you'll see that little pencil icon that you can kinda see in the gray area on the screenshot. The overall save is linked to the time card adjustment tool save. So be sure that you, you know, save it both in the edit window and then the overall adjustment since it's it kinda makes those sweeping changes. And if you have, you know, multiple rows with the same time card resource ID, those will have the same note since it's considered the same employee row there. So excited to see how that unblocks some workflows for you guys. Okay. In terms of reporting, this is another small but mighty change here. We had some folks that were using the daily report, the weekly time card report, and the signature report and said, hey. You know, we are, you know, seeing our company name here, and we need to see the the business unit name or vice versa. We've having to export those reports to a PDF and then going in and manually changing those those PDFs, kinda similar to the the workflows that we talked about earlier. And it's just taking up a lot of time. You know, we export these reports a lot. So we made some updates to those three reports that were kind of in our older style of PDF export, and now they respect the option that you'll find in setups. So setups dot h g s s apps dot com. You can see it under the platform section in the upper left. But if you go there for your business unit information, you'll be able to pop open this window that you see in the screenshot and check that box or uncheck it depending on on how, you'd like to have it set up, and that'll give you the, the description, that you can enter there if needed. So nice update to just save some time on export. Alright. Moving along. Okay. I've got one more, and then I'm passing it over to Aneel. So this is one that Aneel and I worked on together actually to show the the app version in the field app submissions report. If you guys are familiar with using the events module and credentials for previous versions of HCSS Field Mobile, it had a way to see the app version, which really helped with troubleshooting. You know, if you've if you've got a lot of iPads out in the field and you're trying to see, like, hey, you know, who's got one that's out of date? What app version are they actually using? Do they need to update to the new version? Is everybody on the new version so we can all enjoy this new feature that Aneel's team just released? You know, there's lots of different questions that can be answered by that. So if you go under the field app submissions report in web, you'll now be able to add that app version column and see which mobile version that user is on. If you're not seeing that, they may need to update to at least twenty twenty six point five, which has been out for a while now. So, hopefully, most of your users are sending that data to web now. Alright. There's no questions about those. I'm gonna hand it over to Aneel to talk about the equipment QR code scanning. Thanks, John. Yeah. So we also wanted to showcase some improvements that we made on the iOS side over the last couple of months that you may have missed. We do try to post these in the apps, what's new screen as well, but I know it's easy to overlook those if they're just trying to get into the app and start working. So the first one I wanted to talk about was the equipment QR code scanning. And one of the main reasons we built this was we've heard from a lot of you guys that your your users may end up logging the hours of the wrong piece of equipment. The dozers may all be similarly coded, similarly worded, and it's just and they're but they're costed differently. Right? And so it impacts your cost. So we're looking at two ways to address getting the right equipment on the time card so that it doesn't blow up your costing. This was the first iteration of that. What this allows is it's the same QR codes that you guys are using in, your safety inspections. They just hit that button. It'll open up a camera. They'll scan the QR code on the piece of equipment, and then it'll get automatically added to the time card. So, hopefully, that's useful, in getting the the right equipment on the time card. The second thing we're gonna work on fairly soon is location based equipment. You know, similar concept. They may be adding equipment that's ten miles away, nowhere near this job site, or somewhere totally, elsewhere. So, we're gonna add a section in the same equipment picker of, like, nearby equipment, and that'll be based on your equipment's GPS data that we have in telematics. So make sure that the the is actually logging equipment that's in the vicinity of where the device is. So, hopefully, those improvements help. This one is out today, and then the location based one we'll add soon after. Another improvement, we wanted to share with you guys that we did is this is also live in production is showing your recent jobs. So, we heard from you guys that when you're building multi job time cards, it it can be a pain where you have a lot of jobs. Prior to what you see here, it would all always show you all your jobs. And so if I had to go back into the fourth job on my multi job time card, I would have to keep scrolling in the list or search, and it it just wasn't intuitive. And so the same recent jobs that you see on your app's dashboard, those same recent jobs will show up here just so you can get to them quicker, make sure that you log in cost codes and hours against those. It works the same way as the recent jobs list on the dashboard. It'll show you ten most recent jobs. And then if you change it here, it'll update the one on the dashboard. If you change it on dashboard, it'll update this list so that they do talk to each other. RFIs. We got feedback from a lot of customers that RFIs are key to the work that's being done, and just wanna complete the loop where a a user puts in an issue, it could turn in an RFI, then a response gets sent back. Previously, we weren't sending back down to mobile the recommendation or the response, they assigned two fields, and so we got those added in. This is also live in production. And so basically making sure that the form is always informed on what they need to do. They're not sitting there waiting. Alright. The next thing we're gonna hop into is photos. I'm gonna take a quick peek at if there's any questions. Okay. So the RFI section. Yeah. So that's in the project controls module. It it is a separate permission that you can add in in your credential subscription group, but when you're on the iPad, it's called project controls. Alright. Let me see if that's in the screenshot. Yeah. So it's in project controls. When they tap into project controls, it'll hop into issues first, but in there, can see your issues, your potential change orders, your RFIs, your submittals, and your DIC permits. If you're not seeing it, feel free to reach out to support or message me, and we can look into why it's not showing up on your side. But it is in both the iPad and iPhone versions of HeavyJob. And I wanna call out what what Aneel was saying there. It it is a separate module that you do need to enable in credentials. It is not a separate cost that is included as part of the the existing subscription that you already have. So it is a separate module, much like diary and photos and time cards or modules for the mobile app. And let's talk about those photos. Okay. Excellent. So I was hoping to do more of a live demo, but my iPad was not being cooperative this morning. So I'm gonna just show some slides and some designs, and then, hopefully, in our July webinar, when we have more of it built out, we can go into the weeds of it. But we know we know you guys love photos, and we love that you love photos. And we wanted to take some time to actually improve photos and do some improvements that you guys have talked about in at UGM and elsewhere. So I'll I'll show some of this here in a little bit, but, essentially, there's some things on the left that's changing, and then there's stuff that's brand new on the right. So we'll we'll talk about what's changing first. So, essentially, we we added faster access to the camera and the gallery. We know some of you take photos directly from the app itself via the camera, and then some of you guys take photos from your iPhone, and you drop it into the gallery, and then you pull them to the iPad. And there's different workflows, and we wanna make sure both are supported. Right now, both of those workflows are hidden behind a couple of taps, and it was excessive. So we got rid of that. We just made it quicker to get into your photos. The other thing we did, the the next two, is feedback that we heard from support and, you know, from customers is sometimes in different workflows, the photos could get duplicated. So if I'm pulling a photo from my gallery and then I add it to the the app and then I go back the next day and I go back to gallery, I might I might go to go to the app and then go to the photo selector. I might see that photo twice. We fix that. The photos will no longer duplicate. That should help both with user confusion of, like, why am I seeing two of these? But also just storage space on your device. Right? We don't wanna we don't want our data to eat up too much space on your iPads and your phones. Something else that we'll be doing is making the metadata stamping optional. We know a lot of you folks really love it, and right now, it is enabled by default across the board. But we also know that a lot of customers have their own utility that they use to do that stamping. So we're gonna make it a company preference and credentials where you can enable or disable this across the board for the company. So that'll be that'll be out when the the photos module is released. And then the next big thing is set to tags. And so right now, you can add a tag to a photo, but that tag is essentially a string, and it just comes in as a note. So you can't filter your photos by your tag in mobile or in web. You can't do much with that. And so what we're gonna do is we're gonna start tags. And the the tags I'm talking about are what we also call transaction tags. So folks may tag their photo with, like, weather delay or material delay or whatever you want. They're a hundred percent customizable. But these are gonna be entities that you actually link to a photo, and then when you do your filtering, you can search based on these tags. So that's one of the things we're gonna be doing. And all of that is part of our phase one iteration. And then beyond that, the the new things we're doing is actually tagging with additional entity types. So the first couple are gonna be your cost codes and your MSC codes. A lot of times, it may be unclear if, like, oh, what is this a photo op that I'm looking at? I may add a note unclear, but we've heard feedback from customers that if I can tag it with exactly the work I'm doing, the cost codes, or exactly what I use to do the work, the MSC codes, that just makes it so much more useful. And so we're gonna do tagging by Cost Codes and MSC codes, and I'll show that what that kinda looks like here. And then right after that, that'll be in the photo the full screen photo like you see here. And then right after that, we'll do multi photo tagging, where I can choose five photos, ten photos, whatever it is, and then all of these five are tied to this cost code or this MSC code or this transaction tag. And should just help you guys group them better, and then filtering by those same tags. Show me all the photos that involved a weather delay. We'll allow that filtering both in mobile. And then all of this also has a tie in with John's team on the web where they're gonna add improvements to various reports, the photos and docs tools so that you can actually filter by tags there and various features that I'll let him talk about as those get built out later on. But these these should help with these various improvements of making your photos more more data data rich. So I'll maybe see if I can present my design real quick. And what I'm gonna show is Anybody else lose a Aneel there? Okay. I I I will take a step in, and I I do not have his design, but I I will take a step in for a second. So, so far what we've seen today during the webinar is John led off with something that is done, but it's in beta because we know there are some issues and we want to make sure that we get them all sorted out prior to releasing. We care a lot about that. Alright? And then you saw a bunch of, say, smaller feature improvements that are already out there and released. This is something that is in progress. This is something that is still several months away, but it is something that affects your foreman out in the field. And because of that because of that, we wanna get far ahead. We like showing you these things far ahead of time. That's one of the important reasons why we do this webinar is to let you know about things that are coming down the line. And sometimes we're gonna show you a new report coming out on the web a week from now. And sometimes we're gonna show you that we're gonna redo a module that your foreman use on a daily basis. And trust me, we know there's a lot of photos coming in every single day, guys. So yes, we know that they're using this. So we feel like it's kind of important for you to see the changes that we're making. And we we are absolutely keeping these changes. We're keeping your foreman's use and the simplicity and making things simpler and better for them top of mind as a Aneel and the Connie on the design team and the rest of the development team in mind when they're going out and building these things. I will say there's one other thing screen and Aneel is almost back in. There's another screen that is also similarly in progress on the mobile app, and that is our cost code quantity screen. Okay, this is that's a screen that has not been touched in at least ten years. It is the screen that you go into and enter your quantities on the cost code or enter in your materials or your pay item quantities, add in your notes and your cost code tags and mark stuff as T and M or rework, see your estimate notes. That screen is also getting a update that is still several months away. And don't worry, we will be back and we will make sure y'all are well aware of all the changes. We'll get y'all screenshots. We'll make sure that you can prepare your your crew leads for this. But that will likely come out later in the year. Hopefully, some of y'all have shut down for winter here in Texas, it is freaking hot. So, no, there is no shutdown. No. But some of y'all will be able to. And is a Aneel back guys as I'm looking. He may still be having trouble. Alright. Oh, there he is. Awesome. Aneel, we we I think you've covered a lot of the new functionalities and we've given them the warning that they're gonna get something better but different soon. So why don't we hold off on the demo so we don't lose you one more time? Okay. And Yeah. That works. And then get into some of these questions. Like, will metadata stamping be on by default? I don't know how that works. Yes. Yeah. It will be on by default. And then once that preference is there, you can opt out of it. Cool. Let's see. I'm just gonna I'm just gonna go down the line. And, Neil, you you've you've inspired them to ask a bunch of questions. Alright. Excellent. Let's do it. Will you add the ability to manage photos attached to diaries and time cards via HeavyJob web slash manager? It's not for you you, Aneel. John, what do you got for us? Can we add will we be able to add photos in the web at any point? We will. Great timing on this question. We're actually working on this right now. You've noticed you you may notice if you go into the photos and docs tool, we added the light box, which is a fancy way of describing the carousel that we added to map view already for the photos. So it's got an enhanced info panel on the side if you click into the info section there. The end goal is that not only will you be able to add photos and PDFs to the web transactionally, so they need to have a date job foreman. We're gonna have a different place to manage, like, job overall PDFs and docs and plans. But within HeavyJob web, we'll have the ability to add that with the date job foreman and then also go in and edit things like the the notes, the tags that that Aneel was just talking about, and even the lat latitude and longitude, you know, linking back to the map view, being able to make sure that it's in in the right place there. So lots of cool stuff coming up in terms of that. Very nice. All right. Let's see. Caitlin is asking, can we require a certain number of photos per day? At the moment, the answer is no. But, alright, sounds like a request. You know, one of one of the first companies I remember going out to implement here in Houston actually they wanted their foreman capturing was it it was ten photos a day of the job site and then four photos one of each side of the equipment as it entered and left the job site. They needed front, back, side to side because they were gonna find out who was messing up their equipment and whether it was happening on the job site or happened in the yard, they were gonna find that out. They wanted an auditable track of every side of the equipment to look for dents and scrapes and stuff like that. So we definitely understand the desire for taking a lot of photos and requiring that photos be taken. Right now, that is a process workflow thing for y'all. I'm not sure we can look into the option of you can't send in your time card until you've sent in five photos. That that feels a little mean to the foreman in my mind, but we'll see we'll see what people want. We'll we'll see what they want there. So looks like in our in our back channel that the implementers are are in support of this. So alright. Are the Julia's asking, are the MSC tags gonna be linked to the MSC entry for the day? So will we be able to have photos linked to the materials so that when I go onto the web and I review my material entries on the MSC review screen or somewhere else, I can see the photo presumably of the truck tickets, the invoice, whatever it is that is on the job site and they just take the photo and it is now attached to the material transaction. Is that what we are talking about? Yeah. That's ultimately the goal. So on the mobile side, we won't limit it to where you create the MSC entry first. The the workflow we wanna support is that the delivery comes in, they take the photos of the truck ticket, they took take the photos of the pipe or whatever, and they go about their day. And then they can still do the actual MSC entry in the app later in the day. So on the mobile side, we'll support both the transactional entry tied to the photo and then also just like the setup. And then once it goes to web, because we know the job date form in, the material code, we can then kinda combine all those together so that when you are looking at that cost code or that material code, it's all linked for you. Good. Alrighty. I know there's some questions that are not necessarily here related to the mobile side of things, but, looks like we have, some more to hit. So should we we move into our q and a section, John, or what are you thinking? Let's do it. Yeah. I definitely wanna address Derek's question. So he asked, I see now that under equipment setup and HeavyJob, it allows you to add parents to the category. So think, you know, you could call it a parent child relationship. It could be, you know, the overall type of equipment and then subtypes and then specific equipment codes, however you wanna set that up. But, yeah, you guys may have noticed that that's now showing in the equipment list. Derek was asking, can we give an update on what is going on here? Will it link to setups, and how can we modify equipment categories, like descriptions and parents of existing equipment categories? So great question. This is some work we've been doing in the background for a while now. And the overall goal is, like you mentioned, that it would link to setups that, you know, this is still an option that you guys can enable, but we wanted basically, you know, the equipment types in HeavyJob to relate to the equipment types and setups and telematics and equipment e three equipment three sixty. So that way, the whole system was on the same page and talking to each other. And that way they're, you know, more useful overall, right, because they mean the same thing in our different systems. So we're still, you know, doing a few polishing changes on that work, but it is live. So if you guys see that in the equipment list, the way that you would add new equipment types or add equipment types below a parent type is to go into the equipment list, click on the detail, and go for the like, a specific piece of equipment, and then click edit in the top center. I think this might actually be a good topic for us to to dig into on our next webinar depending on our our topic list so we can do more of a deep dive. But hop into that equipment screen, and from there, there's an add new option up top. In terms of editing existing ones, I think that's something that you would have to do in setups. I'll double check that, and we can do more of a deep dive next time. But that would be a great topic to to get into. It's another one of those behind the scene changes that there's a lot of complexity. It's not a huge visual change for you guys in the in the user interface, but the usability of it can really enhance some of your equipment workflows. So great question there, Derek. And actually, hold on a second. It looks like Sara's reminding me that I I we've we've skipped over a poll we were gonna run-in regards to what's currently displaying on the screen, So we might as well get that. So I'm gonna launch that, Aneel, if you'd like to talk through that real quick. Yeah. Absolutely. So as we're doing additional improvements in photos, we've heard both of these ideas previously, we kinda wanted to get priority from you guys on what makes more sense. So one idea was take multiple photos at once. Essentially what happens today is if you're using the app and taking the photo, it takes a photo and then there's like a review or capture option. So you take a photo, you have to stop and approve it, then take a second photo. One thing we could do is just allow you to just take snap, snap, snap, snap, snap, take all your photos in one go, add them to the device, and you can delete the ones you don't care about. So that's that top option. The second option is those that add photos for multiple jobs or that work on multiple jobs. This would be when you're pulling from gallery. So right now it's several taps. So I have to go to job one, go into my gallery, grab my photos, save them, back out, go to job two, go back in, go to gallery. So it's several taps to do that. That option is we could have a job selector or something write in photos. There are some ways that we could do it, but essentially allowing you to grab photos from multiple jobs quicker. And yeah, something else, if you have any other thoughts, throw them in the chat and then I can ping you and we can talk more about it. Sounds good. And let's take a look at how this poll ended. So sharing the results. Looks like a a good amount there. Wants multiple photos at once. Okay. Excellent. Stopping to review. Very nice. Okay. Alrighty. Okay. I'm going to cover off one real quick and then I'll hand it back to these guys. But Rick's asking, in the April webinar, the new safety meeting layout was talked about with a lot of requests for a PowerPoint PDF how to with screenshots. It has can we get a copy of that? So it is available, and we will send that out right now to everyone. Oh, and Gaston already did. Thank you, Gaston. So that is a way. You can check that in the q and a section. So you can absolutely access that so you get your guys up to date on that. Alright. Let's take a look. We have a couple more minutes, and let's just let's just see if we can fly through here. Alright. So I'll go with web question. John, Tricia's asking, when a time card is rejected and sent back to the field, once the field fixes it and needs to be approved again, is there any way we can notify the approver that there that a time card has been revised? Yeah. So this is a topic that we've had several discussions around. We like the overall idea of being able to alert users, but we're still working on some of the details there. We want those to be as effective as possible, but also not overwhelm the user with different alerts to where it becomes less useful. So we don't have a finalized plan in place on where that would live or how that would look, but it's definitely something that we're thinking about. Alrighty. A request to force the equipment types to be live in setups so that the import data from HeavyJob can push out the resource planner. Sara, that is expected. That absolutely is expected. We're working on trying to get resource planner jiving with HeavyJob and the setup state right now. So less fun than it sounds. I promise. So I noticed there's several requests for the additional stuff in the comments on photo options like videos and easier ways to annotate photos. Hi, Hal. Let's see. With the new parent type oh, interesting question. Alright. Let's see how what what the the answer to the question is at the moment, no. This is not possible, Caleb. But we'll see what Matt and John think about this. Alright. With the new parent type, presumably for equipment types, can this be used in the rate tables to apply the cost rates and billables to the types of equipment instead of the individual equipment resources? I'm saying we do not do that today. I'm just calling it out right now. But Yeah. Definitely an interesting suggestion. I'd wanna have some more conversation with with some different folks and see how they're using those types. You know, if if the rates, you know, typically are similar across a type or if, you know, if that might go down different levels. I guess with the multiple levels, you could set it up how you wanted to and and get to a point where those lined up. So I definitely think it's an interesting idea. And I'll talk to our development team about it and see what that would look like in terms of the the data structure. Philosophically, I'd say that's the right way to set your equipment rates, whether you can do that in HeavyJob or not. I like Derek's comment. That's particularly the right way to do it for T and M billing. Makes it a lot easier if we could set it at that level. So it sounds like we've got some some digging to do there. Yeah. The T and M billing versus our regular equipment rate sets, I wonder if there's a difference there, especially when it comes to, like, depreciation and things like that for the same type of equipment. So it's been an interesting conversation to dig in more on. Yeah. Alright. We'll get a few more of these in here and then turn it over to Matt for for his his slide. So let's see. Tyler's asking, will there ever be a way to bulk import into the quantity adjustment tool? I know you can export. Would like to import adjustments. Right now, I know that we have APIs available that do allow a bulk there is a bulk endpoint there to pull in adjustments. I think you can pull in a thousand at a time for quantities and the hours. Typically, it's used for tools like true up and similar stuff. They're just pulling stuff from an accounting system like that. So if that's what you're aiming for, I would hope that you're either able to do the adjustments directly in HeavyJob and the quantity adjustment tool, or you're doing them in the accounting system at which point TrueUp will pull them over. So hopefully that will be able to to handle that too. Looks like a request from Andrew here, the make daily digest on the web multi job. Not a bad request there. And there are several other questions, but it's ten fifty nine, and I'm gonna hand it over to to Matt here real quick and to talk Consulting Connect, we will do our best to get with everybody else as the questions come in. Matt, you're up. Thank you so much. I'm wearing my Team USA shirt and getting ready. This is the test drive for my fourth of July picnic shirt. Hoping that you all got a lot out of our webinar today. I thought it was super fun going through the highlight reel of goodies. That's also kind of what we talk about for Consulting Connect. So we just wrapped up in Dallas. We had a good showing, but we also understand that the thought of coming to Texas in June doesn't seem like the ideal time to come down south and melt with us. So we're going to take a little hiatus, though we will be doing a meeting at our offices at some point probably August, September, but we can be more flexible because we don't have to worry about booking something with Topgolf. But if you want to join us face to face, keep your eyes out for that. We plan on coming to the one closest or most interesting for you to come out and visit. I'll also say we're doing a new thing this Tuesday that I think would be fantastic for you to join us. We're gonna do a HeavyJob mobile refresher training. So our own Dan Lisbony, the person that has trained the most HeavyJob users of anyone in the world, will be leading that training this coming Tuesday. We're doing two shows, so I wanted to make sure that it would be convenient for you. Great for any new users that you have that never had any formal training. Great as a reminder for any of your existing mobile users and great for any ops managers that want to understand all the goodies that are in the iPad a little bit better. It's one hundred and fifty bucks to sign up either at nine thirty Houston time or two o'clock Houston time. You can scan that little QR code or if you want to email consultinghcss dot com, we would love to have you. We're going to run through the mobile app, show you some tips and tricks to be better, faster, quicker, easier paperwork. And hope you can join us for that on Tuesday. We're looking at doing some more of these, more just snippets of Consulting Connect. So if you can't join us in Atlanta in October for the next one, or when we do it at our office, You can join us for just a piece, and we're starting with the mobile training. I hope that helps you. We're two minutes over, so I will shut up there, but hope you can join us and look forward to seeing you next month. Go team USA. That's all we got for y'all. Thank you for joining us. See y'all next month.
