Command Alkon Vice President of Product Management Chris Strickland, Vice President of Business Development Steve Cox and Vice President of Marketing Ed Rush celebrate the HCSS alliance.
Command Alkon, the leading software platform for construction suppliers, and HCSS, the leading software platform for infrastructure contractors recently announced a new collaboration partnership to streamline heavy materials management across contractors, suppliers, and haulers.
Both of our companies are aligned around the goal of eliminating paper tickets, removing all manual tasks, and automating data flows so that intercompany operations between companies are much easier and friction-free.
“When conversations between our organizations began, we zoomed into the value we could deliver quickly to customers,” said, JP Giometti, HCSS Executive Director of Global Strategy and Business Development. “As a result of a focused collaboration effort, our shared customers can say goodbye to passing five-part printed tickets to track material delivery. As a first step in automation, the HCSS Trucking application can now read the material type, quantity, and even cost code from the Command Alkon scale software and place it into the HCSS electronic ticket as the truck arrives at the job-site.”
To strengthen the alliance, accelerate execution, and ensure reliable interoperability, the companies are conducting joint Research and Development efforts alongside forthcoming Customer Feedback sessions. More details were presented in November at Command Alkon’s ELEVATE Conference & Expo in Chicago, and will be again presented at the HCSS User’s Group Meetings in Houston in January.
