Let's go ahead and kick it off. Good morning, everyone. Thank you for joining us today for our monthly HeavyJob webinar. My name is Sarah. I'm a product marketer here at HCSS and your host for today. Also, we begin, I just wanted to remind everyone to put any of your questions in the chat or the Q and A box, and we'll have one of our many experts answer it either behind the scenes via chat or we'll answer it at the end with a live q and a. So today we actually have quite a bit of topics to cover. We'll be discussing JHA capabilities, pulling in GPS hours and pulling in my field hours, copy setups. We also have a special guest. Our insights expert, Harry, will be, talking about reporting job tags and insights. And then we also have cost code quantity entry refresh. So I'll go ahead and hand it off to Gaston who's gonna be talking about JHA capabilities. Awesome. Yep. So as you as some of you know, but some of you might not know, we have been doing a lot of work lately to make JJ's much much much more flexible. So we've let you we've we've already released where you can rename your JHA module, change the description on it, that will filter out everywhere. And would you mind actually going to the next slide there, Sarah? Just so you guys can kinda see here in this next slide a little bit of what we've been working on. So and we've given you this this new setup page called field layouts, where you can adjust the main section headers on your JHA form. You can drag and drop, reorder them, and a number of other things. You can turn some things off, like maybe you wanna turn off signatures, etcetera. So the the new thing that we've just released is the ability to actually create additional layouts. So I think we're letting you create up to ten of those. And then you can assign those to specific business units, to specific jobs, or to specific job tags with the idea that this is gonna allow the people in the field to have the right layout auto selected for them. So the yep. So and well, by the way, we're we're not gonna block your field from overriding that layout that's selected for them out in the field. But the whole the whole thing is we've heard you guys say that sometimes it's confusing. Someone picks the wrong thing out in the field. Maybe they're on an EM three eighty five job and they were supposed to pick and they didn't. They filled that out as a JHA. Now it's missing the RAC code or something like that that you guys need. Same thing. Maybe you're maybe you're doing a job for a particular client that needs a wildfire thing that's that's filled out. We're working toward letting you control that as well and have that auto selected there in the field. Can we go to the next slide, please? We'll show a quick example of what that might look like out in the field. Oh, actually, can control it now. Thank you, sir. I see that. So here you see out in the field, we just got the the JHA screen. Whenever you go to create it, you'll notice that it's it's going pretty fast, but it's opening up the layout selection, the format selection there, and you see that PG and E is selected. This This was the new one that you just saw on the previous screen just for the PG and E jobs. And when someone goes to change to a different layout, if they say, you know what, I need to override this, we're gonna tell them, hey, look, this is the one for this job. So we're trying to make it pretty obvious. Yep. This is the one you're supposed to be using for this job. And then if they know they're supposed to use something different, at least they've seen that on the office side it was set up to be for that specific job. We also are going to remember the last user layout for someone. So if you do have more than one layout assigned to a particular job, it's just gonna remember for that user, yep, this is the one I used last time. It's gonna gonna auto pick that for them so that they're not having to go pick a specific layout every single time they open it. So it's gonna be kind of a mixture of those two things. If you have only one layout assigned to the job, then it's gonna auto pick that one. If there are multiple layouts assigned to the job, it's either going to give them a selection list before they can start the JHA or if they have a last used one, then it's gonna grab that one for them. And I think that's pretty much it. You may have noticed in that previous quick little GIF that was going by on the previous slide, this one here, there are some sections there at the bottom. You notice where there's one that says wildfire. You don't have that one in your list yet, but that's what we call a custom section and we're currently working on it. So quick little preview that I wanted to explain just because it was in the in the GIF there in case someone noticed it. But that is coming soon. But what you can do today is you can create new layouts and then you can assign them to jobs, assign them to business units, and the default for all of you should be assigned to all jobs and all business units. And that's gonna be the default whenever you create any new layout. So if you wanna get it really well controlled for people out in the field, it will take a little bit of setup for you, but one of the most powerful setup things you can do is use those job tags because then as long as you're assigning if you're using job tags on the HeavyJob side, then you really only have to do a kinda set it and forget it on the safety side by assigning to the job tag. So now as long as you're continuing to maintain those tags, it's gonna auto select those those correct jobs there on safety for you without you having to go do updates every time you make a new job. And I think that's it. Feel free to throw out any questions. I see some coming in Yeah, we got a couple of questions here, Gaston. So first one is from Nicole. Is the ten layout limit that we see there on the right, is that per business unit or for the entire company wide if they have multiple business units? So that is company wide. And if if it turns out you need more than that, let me know. We honestly set that as a semi arbitrary number because we wanted to set some kind of limit. And most of the people I talked to only needed, say, five or six, and we thought, let's make it ten. So if you need more than that, you just let me know, and and we can maybe look at expanding that. I see, Doug, you said, are the JHA still limited to iPad tablet? Yes, for now. There are plans in the works to expand that to iPhone along with a nice visual refresh. Caveat, we haven't actually started building it, but we do have prototypes. And if you're like, you really wanna see that prototype before we build it and you wanna get feedback on it, then shoot me an email. It's just my first name dot last name, gaston dot curts at hcss dot com, and I will happily show you that prototype. You can give all the feedback that you want on it and and see what you think about it. Obviously, these layouts are are a very powerful way of doing things. How do they intersect with the templates? So are the templates now going to be locked into a specific layout or are can templates span between the two? Okay. So the templates are not locked into anything. Okay. Your templates, you can set up your prefill. So for those who may not know, the activity library, you can see it there on the left in that little screenshot that's going past. The activity library is where you set up the different kinds of work that you're actually gonna do and then you can pre fill out all of these sections with what should be the base starting point for filling out at a JHA when you're doing that type of work, when you're doing that kind of activity. And the way we have it set up is whenever you open that template now, you actually have a drop down on the top right to pick which layout view you're looking at. Or you can click all and then it will ignore all of your layouts. It will take any section that happens to exist in your section library, which right now we set those for you, but coming one day in a few months, you're gonna be able to create additional ones. And so you just you'll see all of them. You can pre fill. Well, if this was being used, then it would have these answers pre selected. And you can then fill it out that way there in the activity library. Sounds good. Sounds good. I see Rick asked about talking about the meetings update. Yeah, feel free to shoot me an email, Rick, and we can talk about it. If there are no further questions coming in, I think we are good to move on to actually, I'm not sure who we're moving on to. Sarah? Think we're going with John. Alright. Good morning, everybody. So very excited to announce a couple of features that we are releasing. The first that I wanna talk about today is pulling GPS hours into the web time card. So this is a functionality that those that are familiar with our mobile app have seen before, and and we're going to follow that same pattern very closely in the web time card. We've gotten some feedback from users that said either, hey. I want to have my foreman or at least a handful of foreman build time cards in the web app instead of the mobile app. Or we've also got folks, especially with telematics devices, that that use a a variety of either HCSS Telematics or OEM devices. And while HCSS Telematics does update very quickly to our servers, we're aware that that some equipment manufacturers that maybe do a a nightly pull or every few hours, you know, there's different cycles that those hours get updated. So some of us have workflows where we want to go back and and touch up those hours later, pull those hours again just to make sure we have the most up to date data for that date range. So now you're able to do this. We've got the the beta flag on there because we still want your feedback. If you notice anything that could use a little tweaking. We've done some some beta testing, but are excited to to try this out with your different workflows. So what you can expect when you click that button in web is that it's gonna pull data directly from HCSS Telematics or OEM integrated devices. For those folks that are in our hybrid environments, this will work for you as well as for our our web only customers. So what you're gonna wanna do is either create a new time card or revise an existing time card. And then up in the upper right, you'll see that pull hours drop down. So any users with the ability to edit a time card will be able to see this button. So similar to our mobile functionality, basically, if if the company entrusts you with editing a time card, creating a time card, then you'll have the ability to use this integration. And the poll will override existing meter on, off data but retain any notes that are entered. So you don't have to worry about it overriding your equipment notes that are coming in either manually entered through the time card or from a different source, but it will basically update those meter on, meter off hours as the pull happens there. Alright. So I see a few questions coming in. Do we wanna go ahead and answer those now? Yeah. I think I think so. So we got a couple people actually asking about time card warnings and whether soft stops, hard stops would apply to time card entry on the web. That is a great question. So So the short answer is no. We do not have the full suite of time card warnings in the web just yet. So we've got those guardrails in place on mobile to help the folks out in the field. We're planning in the future to add some of those in web as well. But for right now, this is kind of more in the review process, the approval process, so we don't have those those same warnings there in web. But keep an eye out. We'll we'll be adding those in the future. We do have a a type of warning that I'll talk about a little bit more when we're talking about pulling the HCSS myField hours that that helps just to, you know, kinda make sure we're aware that there's any kind of mismatch there. Gotcha. And speaking of warnings, looks like Samantha's asking, can we create a time card warning for the GPS hours? So and because time card warnings are only on the field, let's assume that we're talking about the field right now. So can we create the warning so that, I guess, if they don't use the pull from GPS, that it's it's, no. No. No. You gotta go pull from GPS. No doing this manually. That's a good question. Yeah. We don't have that type of warning today, but we'll have to to look into that. But, yeah, definitely a possibility. Yeah. I mean, right now, we do have the just a warning. If you don't put in your meter on and off and you don't put in a a matching schedule, I guess, a start stops. So while it doesn't actually require the user to use the pull from GPS, once the user knows the pull from GPS is there, why wouldn't they hit the easy button? Right? Like, we're we're making things more efficient there. So we definitely recommend letting your letting your guys know that this exists out there. I'm gonna toss this question over to Matt here, but Perry's asking, can we pull GPS hours from VisionLink? Oh, that's a good one. So for the OEMs and for a handful of third party GPS, in telematics, we have a feature called OEMLink, the increasingly inaccurately named OEMLink now that we're teaming up with the Samsara and Verizon and OTIVE and others. But that'll let you take your VisionLink and effectively make it an HCSS GPS unit. Knudsen was talking a little bit earlier about the timing on that. Like my children asking for candy, we ask all the OEMs every fifteen minutes or so if we can have some more data, and every so often, they'll say, okay. Here you go. And so the timing on that, depending on when it last talked and when I'm punching out at the end of the day and filling my time card out, might not line up just right. If you have one of our units, it'll always line up just right. But for the OEM link, you already have that on the machine when you buy a brand new one, so spend a couple bucks. And that effectively makes it ours super duper handy for our fleet customers, so that way your meter just shows up Equipment360 and drives your PM schedules every morning. But super handy here that even if my foreman just had unlucky timing for when the last time the the CAT unit talked to him, it might look like he's a little shy on his hours. I could hit it again, and it would catch that last hour of the day that we didn't know about yet. So yes, with the asterisk, and so this helps close that gap if you want to double check it. I'd say my other favorite thing on the telematics side for my HeavyJob customers is we have a heavy job exceptions report. So that way I can say, show me my run time hours from telematics, which will be right, and show me my charged out hours in HeavyJob, which will hopefully be right as well, but gives me an easy way to see, oh, you overcharged yourself, so let me back that down. Or whoops, you forgot some hours, so let me get that caught up in HeavyJob. So really handy way to be able to see that. Now it's really great functionality that exists there, and it is all part of the HCSS Telematics system. So a question came in, do you have to have HCSS Telematics? The answer is yes. All of this does flow through the HCSS Telematics, HCSS fleet products. That being said, telematics is not a per user based thing. This is not something that you need to call and sign up for a startup fee and implementation, all this other stuff. It's just per device. You turn on the devices you need, and whether that's being able to purchase, you know, HCSS devices where you're getting that almost instant equipment data or you're using the OEM data, you're just able to turn on the exact devices you need, pay for those themselves. It's not per user or per company, stuff like that. So by all means, if you're interested in that, reach out to your your local friendly salesperson or customer success rep. They'd be happy to talk to you about that as well as I'm sure anybody in support would as well. So alrighty. We're gonna move to the next slide, I think. All right. So same song, second verse. This is our pull HCSS myField Hours. So another long awaited improvement here in web. This one, we have been going through beta testing for the last few months and, have had a great experience. Thank you to all of the folks that that opted in to helping test out. We really appreciate your feedback and the time it took for this. I do wanna mention, as we're wrapping up beta testing, that with with both of these features, we still wanna keep that that human in the loop aspect to it. So be sure to have your folks as you're you're either, you know, talking with other users at your company about this or or getting used to the feature yourself. So after you hit the pull button, we do want you to keep a review process in there just to kinda make sure, hey. You know, do these hours look appropriate? If if I'm just pulling in the schedule, do I have my entered hours on the cost code? Different things like that to make sure that folks are still getting getting paid and and that you've got the hours logged in the right place. So depending on your workflow, it will construct that data on the time card differently. So we wanna make sure that even though it is the easy button, you know, there's probably still at least a review step just to make sure everything's looking good. So alright. So similar to the pull GPS hours, this is going to pull data directly from the clocked or entered HCSS myField data. So, again, similar to the current mobile functionality, for those folks that have been pulling in HCSS myField hours on mobile, this process will look very familiar. So if you have HCSS myField users that log just to the the foreman and the job, so that's gonna pull in the schedule. So under that start in time right there in the middle, if you click on that after pulling, you'll see the scheduled information. And if they have clock in, clock out events or, you know, are changing jobs or different things like that, you'll see that broken out into separate employee rows just to help make it a little bit easier to add those hours to the different rows instead of having to kind of do all the math associated with that and break it up yourself. So trying to help speed up that process for you guys. If the user clocks their time against a cost code in my field, this is one of my favorite things about this functionality. But if it's logged to the cost code already, then that will actually populate those entered hours or clocked hours to the cost code as well as to the schedule section. So really gets that that easy button functionality going for your folks, saving time for the foreman out in the field so they can spend their time elsewhere. Similar to the GPS hours, this does work in all environment types. So for those hybrid users that are still using the desktop software, if you log in on heavyjob.hcssapps.com, you'll be able to pull the HCSS myField hours into that web time card still in that environment. And it will also be visible to users with that time card edit access. So like I mentioned on the GPS hours, if you've got the mobile device, you're able to access both these features. So if you can access the time card and web, you'll be able to access both these as well. One thing that we really spent some time ironing out in the beta testing was, you know, what gets overridden versus what gets kept when you hit the button. So if you spent some time building out other aspects of the time card, maybe you've got some folks that use HCSS myField, but other folks that that aren't using HCSS myField, different crew buildup. We wanna make sure that if you've entered time for those folks that aren't using my field, that it doesn't get overridden when you pull in those hours. So but keep a close eye on this as as you guys are testing it out. If there's anything that where you notice improvements or possible changes, feel free to shoot me an email at jonathan.knutzen@hcss.com or give us a call at support. They know how to track me down as well. So looks like we had a few other questions come in here. Yeah. So Andrew's asking, any plans on adding requirements that one or more breaks are required for a certain duration? So, basically, how do we handle if lunch is a requirement assuming that they've worked x number of hours? Which I think I don't think we actually handle it necessarily on the field side where we're requiring that to happen. Obviously, we can put in a time card warning that they haven't put in a lunch. But I don't think we have it based off of x number of hours that has worked, requires a certain break of a certain duration. But, Andrew, I would recommend checking out actually, we have a new section, I think, on the web on the time card adjustment tool for labor rules, and it may have what you need there. So there are rules set up there that require that allow it to alert for a minimum meal duration of x number of minutes and a meal break every x number of hours worked. And so you can absolutely check those boxes and set it to alert you basically on the back end. This is something like a payroll or an admin person would do at the end of the day, end of the week to verify that everybody had the appropriate number of breaks that are required in, let's say, the state of California, which we hear is lovely about requiring these things. So definitely worth checking out. Those are newer functionality that we've added on, I'd say, at some point this year. I'm not even sure when, but it has not been there for long. But definitely go check that out on the tools and the time frame adjustment tool on on the web. It looks like we have a couple more questions. I see Jeff asked a question about good to see you, Jeff, about setting up the setting up OEMCat to to pull those hours. We're gonna go ahead. I think Matt was able to track down a a good support article on how to set up OEMs. We're gonna get that out to everybody very soon. Gotta thanks, John, for you for pulling web my field hours from Sarah. Always great to see Sarah here. So anyway, okay, and I see a couple more that we'll take a look at, and then we'll answer them after the next break. Who's up next? Emily. Thank you, Adam. So we have been doing some work on a feature that's been inside your jobs, but was pretty limited and now has a lot more options to make it easier for you to set up and maintain your job. So I'm gonna go ahead and share my screen so we can take a look. Alright. So right now I'm inside of a job that I have made some changes to. I'm gonna make a few more. So here I've added some new materials. I didn't have my purchase order in yet. I've added a vendor contract with a subcontractor. I'll make a couple more changes here on the main page. So here I've got my T and M markup template from last year, and I wanna update that to this year. And we've made some changes to our divisions. So I'm gonna go ahead and change this from one a to one b where this job is now located. I've got a few other jobs that are related to this, very similar, and I don't wanna go in there and set them up and make these changes individually. I don't wanna import them from sheet. So I'm going to click this button up here to copy setups to other jobs. And I have several jobs here. I've already completed the one thousand and one, and that's no longer active, so that's not showing up in my list. I'm going to filter it. Here to my electrical contract. Type. And we've got the FGEs. Let's pick a few of these. I think I definitely need it on these three. I don't know if more changes will be needed by the time we get to those. So I'm going to do these three. And I've got a lot of options here. So I changed my markup template, and I've changed added some materials. And I'm gonna go ahead and move forward. Up here, I have skipped the record, so it's gonna add all those materials that I've added that are new, but it's not gonna disturb anything that already exists. And, the markup template will be replaced because that is new. I get to review which jobs I'm affecting and what items I've already selected. I'm not gonna finish it for now because I wanna show you one more thing, here. Actually okay. I didn't select job tag this time. Okay. So for skip, I'm gonna go ahead and send this, and we'll go back and do another scenario, which is that job tag that I changed. So in this case for job tags, I'm gonna wanna do overwrite. Since that division tag was already applied with a different division. So I've selected overwrite. We'll do job tag. Kinda same deal. We get to see that we're doing job tags and I'll finish copy setups. This is gonna take us to a status page where you can see so I've selected a few jobs. It's not gonna complete instantly, but it's not gonna take very long. So now that's done. I've got a complete. And if I want some details, I can look here and I can see the exact jobs. I can see that it was completed successfully. So now I can I'm done. And no imports, no checking each job, updating things individually. We've just completed that process. So hopefully that is gonna make your lives a little bit easier. That's what I've got to share. Very cool. Now we've definitely heard request for the ability to get those copied. Just sometimes it's a training job that we need to move around. Sometimes you're just you have very similar types of work, and you're just trying to easily quick set something up, whether it's an emergency job, whether it's just something small that needs to, you know, grab the same of these couple of settings here. And that was always something that was available there on the desktop system. It wasn't used every day, let's say, but it was always there available on the desktop system in case it's needed. And now being able to have that here is is very cool. So and you did get a question there, Emily. Is there a copy cost code quantity limit? Yes. There is. So it is limited to two hundred and fifty cost codes. We're hoping that maybe you don't need to copy two fifty cost codes, but we're going to do some upcoming work later on. So if you do change some cost codes that you'll be able to actually select those individually rather than updating all. So that should also assist with kind of updating certain things where whether it's accounting values, tags on those cost codes, different things like that without having to be limited by I've got a thousand cost codes at my job. You may not actually need to update all thousand of those and be blocked. So we'll be working on that a little bit later on, but we just wanted to get this out here and available for you guys as soon as we could. Sounds good. Cool. Alrighty. Sarah, since we switched screens, we're gonna we're gonna need the there we go. And we're back up. Alright. And I will pass that to Harry. Yep. So I'm actually going to be doing a live demo for this as well. So let me get my screen shared here. For anyone who maybe doesn't know who I am or has never seen me before, I'm Harry White. I'm the technical product manager of HCSS Insights and Direct Access. So kind of different. I'm going to start this demo off with HeavyJob. So I've just got my job list here with all of my tags that I have assigned to the individual jobs and all of the accounting values that I have assigned to my jobs. So I'm going to go over to HCSS Insights to report I've got created. And as you can see here, we have all of the different tags that I have assigned to the jobs in the demo business unit. And I can filter by each what individual tag is actually being applied. I can also filter by multiple different kinds. Looks like Britney doesn't have a whole lot of assignee jobs. And if we go back to the job list, you can see that these are the ones that are applied being applied over here. And on the next page, if I go back to the job list and then go over to the accounting values, I can see all the accounting values that I have. And I'm able to display all of the different accounting values that are applied to my jobs. And I can also filter by these as well. Now, is all well and good, and it's definitely a quality of life improvement that a lot of people have been asking for in HCSS Insights, the ability to filter by this. But something that we really think is going to amplify the amount of questions that you can answer within HCSS Insights is the ability to group data by the job tag applied to it or the accounting value applied to that job. So as you can see here, I've got a matrix built out with labor hours, labor costs, equipment hours, equipment costs, total cost, total actual cost, director and revenue total. And I have all of the all of the jobs grouped by the oh, excuse me. The job tag assignee that is applied to that job. And we can see that the values roll up. I can, at a glance, see what the total labor hours for any job that has Brittany Klausterman assigned as the assignee while those values are rolled up to a single value. Something really interesting that I don't think that this has ever been a possibility outside of this is I'm also able to filter by the accounting code that I have applied. So here I've got parent work order as a slicer. And if I go back over here, we can see the parent work order is an accounting value. Whoops. And I'm able to filter and group. So this is showing the jobs rolled up to Brittany Klosterman that have the assignee set as Brittany Klosterman and also the parent work order of FGE two zero two four zero one. Just as a note, you can also do the same thing but backwards. So you can also group your data by what accounting field is assigned to it. So I've got the contract name that if we go over to HeavyJob, we can see the contract name is an accounting field. And all these values are being rolled up and it's containing a summary of all the data for all the jobs that have FGE Sugar Land two hundred two thousand five hundred one applied as the contract name. I can also filter by the filter by job tags. So these are kind of used interchangeably. And I didn't have a chance to set this up, but you can also do some stuff with safety filtering and grouping. So anything that is able to be rolled up to a job level can be filtered and grouped by the tags and accounting values assigned to those in HeavyJob. Just as a note, if anyone's seen this in the quarterly release webinar, this is in production as we speak right now. For the tags, they are excuse me. For the accounting values, they automatically come over, and they are live in your environment right now. For the tags, there is an additional step that you need to do as a user action before you get these data this data to come over. You just need to go to set up company settings, and you'll see six new fields here. So if you don't do any override, you're not going to get the tags to come over because tags are so customizable. Everyone has, like, infinite customization, a crazy number of tags. For the start, we're going to we have added six new job tag fields. And to get this to work, all you'll need to do is set an override, and then this value dropdown will contain a list of every single tag that your company has access to. So if I set an override here, whoops, I've had this page open for a really long time. But if you don't set a business unit value, then you'll be able to see all of your job tag groups across all business units. And if they are shared between business units, like something really common like project manager, if I select project manager, then every single business unit will bring in the job tag assigned under project manager for those jobs and job tag four for this example. But if I have different tag groups for different business units, I can set business unit specific overrides. So for job tag five, the demo environment is gonna have job tag five represents division in the demo environment, but it might represent something else in a different business unit. So this was the best way that we were able to come up with to give you the flexibility to declare what you actually want and care about in your reporting needs while still being able to get all the functionality that we just went over, like the grouping and the filtering and the sorting. But yeah, we're really excited about this, and we think it's gonna help our customers out a lot. Now this is and you definitely got got a few fans in the chat there, Harry. So this is a this is a big one for us. I think you'll you'll you'll notice, obviously, Gaston talked about adding tags in on the stuff to assign things. What you're what you're seeing is a a dedicated effort to expand these tags beyond their HeavyJob boundaries. So they've existed in HeavyJob both on the web and in field for for a long time. But this year, we're adding them into HCSS Safety, adding them into HCSS Insights, adding them into resource planner. Really would encourage you if you have not set up job tags in HeavyJob, please, by all means, like, there's it doesn't matter what kind of company, what kind of work you do, there is a use case that you have that job tags would help you in. Highly recommend going and checking them out. If you have any questions doing that, by all means, reach out to support or customer success. They can hook you up fairly simple, and you're gonna get some use out of them. Absolutely. So Very cool. One more thing that I want to I I forgot to mention. After you set the job tags, it does take a refresh cycle to actually apply that data and bring it in. But the accounting values are pulled in automatically. They're a little bit more set, so we're able to just mass pull those over. Good call out. Alrighty, I think we're gonna hand it back to Sarah again. We up? We're up. Alright. Neil. Excellent. Let me go back a slide. Good morning, everyone. So I'm gonna show something that is actually a little bit far from it's in it's in development. It's not going to be released another couple of months. I have a timeline that I'll show at the very end. There are some big UI changes, and so we wanted to get this in front of you guys as soon as we could, just so you get some time to to marinate on it and just get get used to the new UI. So what the screen that's gonna be changing is if this will change. There you go. The screen that comes up after you tap on a cost code. So you're in the time card, you tap on a cost code where you go and add your production quantities. We're doing a lot of good work to change up how that looks and feels, and I'll go into why and what the differences are. So on the left is the screen that we know and love. Basically, it's divided up by the quantities, the notes, the estimate notes. You go in there. You can add your quantities. That'll then push it to WED into your materials. It works pretty well, but we've gotten good feedback on some changes that folks have wanted, and so we're taking this as an opportunity to just make a lot of good enhancements. The one on the right is what we're building now, and so some things just stick out right off the bat. One is that big progress circle at the left there, which says twelve percent complete. Basically, just lets you know without a doubt how far along you are on this work without having to do the math yourselves or sit there and calculate. Something very similar to that is the remaining. So you can see on the left, the old screen, we had the total and the budgeted, but we didn't do the math for the foreman. Didn't show the remaining. That number is now auto calculated for them as well, so there's no doubt of kind of where they are. The other really neat thing is all of this live updates. And so if they happen to fat finger this, and in today's quantity they put two thousand and they meant to put two hundred, that progress circle will update right away. So it'll let them know they're over one hundred percent, whatever that math ends up being, and And then even the remaining will update. So if they put in two thousand and they only had remaining eleven forty four to do, it'll let them know that it's now at negative fifty six, in that field. So they should be able to quickly catch, the messes and backspace and get to two hundred instead of two thousand if they fat fingered it. Something else that's new in this screen is basically the whole screen will scroll up and down. So I know in the old screen, especially for those that log a lot of materials, we really only showed two, two and a half material rows at a time. And so if you log a lot of materials, you'd kind of be scrolling infinitely trying to get to what you need. With this new view, the entire screen will scroll. The quantities, notes, and tags like that header is sticky, so you always know what cost codes you're working on. But the entire screen will scroll up so that you can see your full list of cost codes or a full list of material codes. All right. Some additional changes. We show all details. So those are maybe familiar with this. Those may not be. Last year, about this a little bit beginning of last year, we did work in the work plan where we added a new cost code section. That cost code section shows you all your cost codes on your job, whether they're worked on or not. And so within that cost code list, there's a details view, which is what we see here. And the details view has all the information about your cost codes, your budget, your linked pay items, your linked materials, any RFIs, issues, anything relevant to that cost code estimate notes we show in this details view. Up until this work, those screens are pretty disjointed, And so we've now added a see all details button where the users can tap on that and see all the relevant information just to help with the decision making. The question always comes up, well, what if I don't want my foreman to see dollars? That's not a problem. There's a setting in HCSS Credentials in a subscription group that's where you can hide costs. And then when that's enabled, all the dollars in this view will go away. The user will only be able to see budgeted hours and labor hours and equipment hours. Some other changes. Pay item entry. So those of you that do direct pay item quantity entry, you're used to the screen on the left there. It's a great screen. It works really well. But the biggest feedback we got is I can't see the quantity of my materials, and I can't see the quantity of my cost codes as I'm logging quantities of my pay items. We heard that feedback, and so now for those that do enter direct pay item quantities, they'll see that section on the left there actually, on the right screenshot there where if they log pay items, they can go in there and log their pay item quantities right in the same view where they have the MSC codes and then also the production progress information above, also with the notes and tags and the estimate notes. And then a couple more changes. We did some work since we're in this view to clean up the notes and then also the estimate notes as well. The big one here is basically just seeing more of your data at a glance instead of having to scroll, especially when you add a lot of tags. In that old view, you'd only see two at a time. Now you can see three three or four at a time. You can also scroll a little bit better to see the notes added to your tags. That just helps visibility, just making sure you're capturing all the right relevant information from the field. And then very similar for estimate notes. The feedback we got, and you can see on the screenshot, it was pretty small. It was hard to kind of read all of the information. Your estimators work hard to build up the estimate, win the bid. We feed that down to mobile, but it's really hard to read. We just made it bigger so that the guys in the field can see it. I did see a question about timelines. I'll talk about that next. So, again, just the screenshots here is the old one on the left, the new one on the right. We're still a few months out. We have a little bit more work to do. So the plan right now is mid Q4, late October, early November ish. If you do want early access, email me. It's annihollahtss dot com. We're happy to share access. If you want to talk more about the screens, we can go through the prototype, go through what we have today, and then, yeah, can we chat about it more? Yeah. So we did get we did get another question coming in right now from Michael. If we aren't using materials of expenses, we aren't using that MSCs, let's say, down at the bottom, Does it just show blank? And I guess the same would apply there if you're talking about pay items or other things on the bottom side of the screen there. What would show if you don't have anything set up? Yeah. Great question. I don't know if this pencil thing works. Basically, this edit items would show where the table below it would be blank, but the users can always add things on the fly. So whether it's the pay items or whether it's materials, if the budgets if the linked MSCs weren't set up from the Office side but the field did use specific materials, they can hit edit items there at the top right and then add them to that cost code. Nice. Okay. Now this is a it's a big change. Hopefully, it is not too big for the field. It should be more intuitive. It's easier to learn, easier to use. But we understand that with any type of change, especially if you've been using it for years, then there's gonna be a little bit like, oh, no. What happened? And I think that's why, you know, Aneel's coming three months ahead of time to give you all a heads up about what happens here. This is not gonna be the last time you hear from us on this. It is not just gonna be here at the webinar. We'll do some other communication to make sure we get the message out. There's a lot of people using the screen right now across the board, across the continent right now. We wanna make sure that we want everybody to be aware that the change is coming. So this is a good opportunity for everybody on this call to at least mark this down. Be sure to let the field know that there is gonna be a change coming later in the year. Not to be afraid, it's gonna be a lot easier to use, but it will be coming at some point in quarter four. So. All righty. I think we're up on for Matt for Consulting Connect, I think. Oh, thank you. So super excited for our Consulting Connect event. As you hear me chat every month about it, we added some dates for you to come down and join us at headquarters in Sugar Land. And we're doing our first safety one. Ina Byrne's gonna be coming down and leading that, so really excited to be able to add a new product for our two day walk through. Kind of first day is usually kind of review y stuff, but you'll pick up some good tips like, oh, that's a faster way to do that. Oh, I like that. Oh, I can use tags and insights now. I can think of some clever ways we're going to do that. And then the second day is more advanced features of the really cool stuff that hopefully you're using, but I'd say fair chance you're not. So I'll show you what work is needed to be able to get up and running there. Fifteen hundred bucks ticket for you to join us, but you send two people, you save a couple bucks, and three or more people, you got a third off. So hopefully, a good deal and something that'll be helpful. Everything we've heard has been positive feedback from everybody that's come. We're there to help teach you as the experts. But just like UGM, and this is kind of just a mini product specific UGM, just like UGM, this is a, a chance for you to chat with your peers. We built the software to try to make it as useful as we can for you, but y'all use it every day. So being able to chat with, somebody, sitting right next to you, like, oh, this is a pain for us. How do you guys do it? Because you're doing similar stuff, and you're on the other side of the country, so I'm not too worried about sharing any of my super secret button clicks that are super handy. A really great way to be able to chat with some of your coworkers there. Because we've had such good feedback from this, and because we know that you can't always spare two whole days to come out and hang out with us, we've also started a kind of single serving version, if you go to the the next slide. Thank you. So the the the espresso of our Consulta Connect version instead of our the whole two day coffee. So we've got two different versions, the digital series, which is basically we pick a topic out of Consulting Connect, and we teach one of those for each of the Consulting Connect products. We'll be looking at adding safety to our list next year. So HeavyBid, HeavyJob, and Equipment360. We pick a good topic, talk for ninety minutes. We did our first ones yesterday, so sorry for the timing to not give you a heads up on that. But we had great shows yesterday on, HeavyBid, HeavyJob, and, yours truly did Equipment360, talking about some goodies we've gotten there. Our next one is up on, September sixteenth. We tried to pick kinda consistent dates similar to the, the webinar. So middle of the month on a the middle of the week on a Wednesday, we'll be doing these through the the end of the year. You can scan that code to be able to see the full schedule and everything we're talking about. You can see forecasting for HeavyJob and Holding Accounts and Indirects for HeavyBid, and the equipment type setup and Equipment360s. You can turn on the Churn chart and some cool analytics there. That's what we're talking about for our September class. So that's the left hand side of the screen. If you can't come out for two whole days, we hope you can squeeze in ninety minutes to be able to sit with us. And if you get an emergency that morning and can't join us for that ninety minutes, everybody gets the recording. So I had a couple customers from yesterday where I sent out the link to the recording so that way they could catch up on it today. The other thing we're doing that I'm really excited about, we know that when you just bought HeavyJob or just bought Equipment360, we'll help train your foreman and mechanics, but six months, a year, ten years later, twenty years later, because you've been using HeavyJob forever, you're training any new hire foreman and mechanics that you have. And so we wanna be able to give them some official HCSS training that, we lead. So similar story every month on the first Wednesday of the month. We're gonna have a three hour overview of either HeavyJob or Equipment360 mobile so that way you can get some official HCSS training for your new folks. The story I hear almost universally is, oh, yeah, my boss sat with me in my pickup when it rained one morning and kind of showed me through the iPad for thirty minutes, and that was my training on how to use HeavyJob. And I kind of figured it out from there, and so I'm pretty good now, but that was my introduction. So our hope is that by having a longer class to walk through the whole mobile entry side of both HeavyJob and Equipment360, you've got a a good foundation that you can lean on us to help onboard your new foreman and mechanics. So first Wednesday of the month, that was a little longer, so it's two hundred fifty bucks, but hopefully easy way for you to be able to send them to us and then spend a little bit of time and say, Anne, in particular, I really need you to fill out the quantities because that drives all our reporting, so that's important for us. And I really need you to fill out the the punch time so that way we can make sure that everybody's punch time matches up with their hours. We're gonna give the the general Wednesday. We're gonna give the the general overview of how everything works, but you can fill in a little specifics for you. So hope you can join us either in person in Sugar Land here in a few weeks or virtually join us just like this so we can really dive deep into some good topics. If you have any questions or if you have any requests or suggestions for what we should be talking about, feel free to email me, matt. Fiddlerhcss dot com. Or if you can't remember, it's two Ds and one D, you can email consultinghcss dot com, and I'll probably be the one that responds back to you anyway. So hope you can join us. Sounds good, Matt. Thanks. Alrighty. We're gonna, I think, take a quick poll right now. I'm gonna turn it over to Emily here. Thank you so much. Alright. Well, I wanted to do a quick poll and get a read of the room. There's a lot of work that doesn't start with a bid and a plan, and I wanted to know if you do emergency work and what kind of contract you might have for that kind that kind of work. Yeah. It's something that we see a bunch, like people using HeavyJob. But I wouldn't say that HeavyJob is is optimized for middle of the night, we gotta go fix something or even a first thing in the morning, we have to go fix something. It's typically how it ends up coming. And so just understanding, I guess, how many of our customers actually end up having to do this and whether we can make some improvements just to make it a little bit easier. And so looks like we got almost one hundred responses here. We're gonna go ahead and share those to the group. So it looks like about a quarter of y'all do it regularly under contracts. And then maybe half the group just occasionally. Interesting. Alright. Then checking with Alright, so yeah, for that second question, for those of you doing emergency work, I'm just looking, what is the most painful part of it? I've heard a lot of kind of stress related to this and I want to help you alleviate that stress. No promises but I'm looking into it. We want to make your lives better. Job fast enough. Kinda wanna know, like, how many people, like, crews are already on-site by the time you think to open up HeavyJob and get something going? Like, that that in my mind is probably what's happening in a variety of cases. I know we have a a railroad track that runs about a mile south of our campus here, and we're always saying we have an HCSS customer that does a lot of work in the Houston area, but a lot of work in Texas in general. Building out a stretch of I-ten for us right now. But we'll see their trucks over there because they had a contract with Union Pacific to go fix any of the issues for the train line coming through here. So wondering how often that work makes it in a HeavyJob or if it's completed too fast for them to do it. Alright. Well, if you feel strongly about the topic and you wanna leave me a comment, I can follow-up with you afterward if you wanna have a conversation and kind of share. Maybe you have more than one answer that you wanted to put here. Could definitely chat about it and and see how we can improve your workflows. Makes sense. Sounds good. Alright. I'll hand it back over to Sarah. Thank you so much. That was the last one. Alright. Going back to UGM. It's feels like it's a couple months away, but it's right around the corner after all holidays. We're jumping right back in. So we're super excited. We would love to see you in person. We are currently looking at nominations for industry leaders and then anyone who would like to join us on stage and be a speaker with us. So if you're interested in either of those feel free to scan the QR code on your screen. And just a reminder that registration is already open. UGM this year is February fifteenth through the eighteenth and I believe we have a couple of discounts and sales going on before the end of the year. I think there's a Labor Day sale going on so check that out. We would love to see you in person in Houston in February. And if there's no other questions or chats, I believe that wraps up our monthly webinar. Adam, is there anything else? A few comments definitely came through regarding emergency jobs, and Emily's gonna take those notes and write them down. Looking back through the questions, you know what? There was one from Julie wondering what happens when you're pulling in employee hours from my field, and the formant has already been started to allocate and make adjustments, and then you realize that the one of the guys did not yet fill it out, you pull it in again, and it sometimes overrides the what the formants made changes to. It is an issue. We've looked at various things to be able to make that a little bit easier. I'm not sure we have a perfect under idea of what to do there because, you know, we need to get the stuff, the most up to date information from my field, but if the foreman's already started making changes, how do we know which stuff to use? And I think in general, we've just been overwriting, say, my field is giving us the most up to date new information, and that's why it's causing issues there. Sorry about that. But I think I think we're good. Kenny's asking where can I find a recording of this video? God forbid you wanna watch it again. But if you wanna email it to somebody on your team, because they didn't show up here to watch it this morning, it will be available. Simplest way is probably just go to webinars.hcss.com. It a little bit, a day or two. We go. And it'll be there. You can also watch any previous episodes of us. Other than that, we will be back on the last Thursday of next month in September. No idea what day it is, but it'll be the last Thursday of the month, same time, ten o'clock central. And we look forward to seeing you there. All right. Bye, everyone. Thank you everyone.
