All right. Well, welcome everyone. Thank you for joining us today to walk through the latest and greatest updates to HeavyBid and HeavyBid pre construction. We have the team here today to demo for you the HeavyBid pre construction releases, as well as the new web based HeavyBid releases. And as a reminder for the web based HeavyBid, we are releasing items on a biweekly and sometimes weekly basis. So we're going to show you not just what's been released this week, but also over the last quarter, so you're up to speed and can take advantage of these enhancements. So for this summer release, our core focus was to, the products team's goals was to give you a numerical control, intelligent automation. So we'll be featuring a new AI feature today and complete workspace visibility. So we wanna eliminate the friction between your planning, your quoting and final submissions so your team can build faster, more strategic bids with confidence. So we wanna make sure you're protecting your profit margins from start to finish. So we're gonna dive into the live demo in a bit, but before we do that, we'll kick it off with some introductions. So my name is Melissa Teague and I'm the product marketing manager for HeavyBid here at HCSS. And in my role, I work closely with our sales team and customers to listen to your feedback and deliver exactly what you need to succeed. So things like handouts on our products or a blog post or training webinars and things like that. And I will kick it over to Aaron. Alright. Thank you, Melissa. Good afternoon, everybody. My name is Aaron Alshouse. I'm the product manager for HeavyBid Desktop and HeavyBid Estimates. Yeah. Been with HCSS now for a long time. And looking at the attendees list, I've spoken with most of y'all, so it's great to see y'all in here. With that, I'll kick it over to Paul. Hello, everybody. My name is Paul Lambert. I'm the technical product manager currently in charge of HeavyBid quotes and proposals. I've been with the company for coming up on three years now, and I'm in charge of taking all the crazy ideas that we have and that you have and figuring out how to make them actually show up in the applications. I'll pass it over to Erica. Hello, everyone. My name is Erica Vincent. I'm the TPM for the preconstruction side of estimating software. And so I am the newest member, short of year and a half, but who's counting? And I am looking into all the feedback and I'm met with some people and looking to make preconstruction the best it can be. Great, thank you guys. So we're just gonna get started. We're gonna do the some pre construction demos and then followed by HeavyBid and then at the end a q and a. But as always, if y'all have questions as we're going through this, please drop them in the chat or the Q and A box, and we'll answer them as we go. All right, so I'll kick it over to you, Erica. Yes, okay. Well, in pre construction, we have two releases this quarter. One of our first releases is improvements into our attachments system. This is live. Some of you might have already noticed in project details that there are sections. The old section now is a read only, which means you cannot upload any new documents in there, but the old documents are still there for you and available to download. We also migrated all of those documents into the new section. And in the new section now, you can preview the documents, you can see more details about them, you can upload bigger sized documents. There is a lot of security enhancements behind the scenes, improvements that will make your day to day uploads much, much smoother. And then the next release that we have, we call it preview panel. So now for faster workflows, you can, in the project list, you can actually see your numbers, your estimate numbers for bit total, total cost, the man hours, and labor. And as you can see in the preview in the GIF, this pops out in the preview panel. You see the numbers. And if you want to go in and explore the numbers in-depth, you can either go into project detail itself or the estimate by clicking on the code. So also, the HeavyBid desktop estimates are seen. You can sum up your HeavyBid basic estimates. So you can have both desktop and web when in certain cases you might have change of order, or want to compare things, but those numbers will be now summed up. And let me show you in a preview how to actually do that. Okay, I'm gonna share my screen. Melissa, I think my share Okay, it came back. I had it smaller. Let's see. Always worry there's gonna be some kind of technical. Okay. As you can see in the project list, I have a document or project. And I have columns that I chose to show that involve the bid total, total cost, man hours, and labor. Now these numbers are highlighted. They become links. And you click on either of these numbers, so I'll choose man hours, and the panel will pop out. In this example, I have both desktop and web estimate. So here I am in the actual project. If I scroll down, you can see that inside that I have two of those estimates and I have the numbers summed up. So if I do not want to see the summed up number of the desktop estimate, I can do this. I can click edit and unselect the show totals. Let's click. I select the show totals. I save, and I'll make sure I save the project. So if I am on another tab, had my project list open, the numbers now will adjust. Let me make sure. Oh, it's saved now. And as you can see, it was five hundred thousand, and it should adjust. Of course, when we show live, something always fun happens. So let me just make sure I have the right Okay. Yep. The numbers did adjust, but not live, because I am presenting. So of course, something has to pop And now as you can see, the desktop estimate label or the desktop estimate code is not in here anymore. The same I can do with the web. If I have more than one web estimate, I can add an estimate. I'm just gonna quickly use one of the estimate template copies. Let me see, I'm gonna go with that one. Okay. This one has some numbers, two fifty six. I go back to my project details, I refresh. That number is showing up. I chose the same one. Look at that, I just know which ones to pick. Same numbers. I will save. And as you can see, one item that I wanted to show in the web totals now, you can include the total. We have that column in there too. And by default, this is always selected. But if you do not want one of the estimates and change it, you can always use the same steps as we were using in the desktop. Select. But for this example, I wanna make sure I have it selected and saved. And now, if I am in the project list, my numbers should be bigger. My numbers should be bigger, but it's not doing that because I am, once again, showing it live and doing things. I didn't open the panel. Okay. And here we go. We have more totals, and I have now two web estimates shown here. If I click on the code, it will take me straight to the build screen. And if I had a web s desktop estimate, then if I clicked in a code, it would take me to the KPI, this screen, this screen over here. This is the screen. And all of the screens, they will open in a new tab. So you always will be able to navigate from tab to tab. I will close the unnecessary ones. And I wanted to show also attachments. Attachments. Some of you might not have had any attachments, so this is how it would look like. This is the old attachments area, and this is the new attachments area. So now you just cannot draw and upload any of your documents, but you can do that in the new section. And if you did have some of the documents in there, I'll close some of my tabs, this is how it would look like. So all of my documents that I've had recently or before, I can only download them. I cannot upload, I cannot delete. And if you see in the new section, have twenty four man sixty two. So as you can see, all of these six documents, and one of them was migrated successfully into the new attachments. And you can do a lot of things in the new attachments with a new UI. You can download, delete, you can also preview, you can see details of each, you can download, you can navigate between attachments using the arrows. And there's all the information, what project it is in, and what is the name. So this is all the greatest new releases that are happening in precon. And does anyone have any questions? I kind of went through pretty quickly. Just excited to show everyone. Okay, I do not see any questions, so thank you so much. And then, Aaron, I think that's all yours. Thank you, Erica. All right. Thank you, Erica. So, I'm going to steal the screen here and yeah, I think that's the right screen. Let's see here. Okay. Cool. Everybody can see my screen. Alright, so we're gonna jump into HeavyBid, not HeavyBid Desktop. Friendly reminder to everybody in the room, HeavyBid Desktop has migrated to a once per year release cadence. So HeavyBid Desktop release, look forward to the winter product release because that's when we have that slated. But we have a lot of fun things to show you on the website of things, so stay tuned here. The first thing that I want to go over here is something that we have built, and it's called reverting to prior estimate state. So what does that mean? Long story short, everybody should be aware at this point that we have instituted the ability to undo and redo small changes that we've made in the bid. Again, that's a feature that we don't have in desktop, being able to take a change and simply undo that last change. What if I need to do more than that? Well, we basically took the undo and we put it on steroids. So what do I mean by that? If I jump down here to my last change, and I look at this bed and I see all of the changes, I can see what my estimate total was at any of these changes. If you want to see what the state of that estimate was at that time, I can simply come in and I can select a flashback. But which is which is a great tool, but not new. What we have done that is new is now with that flashback, I can actually revert the entire estimate state to that version. So you'll you were an eagle eyed observer, we were way over ten million dollars before we went back to this flashback point. As I revert to this estimate, essentially what I am doing is I'm going to undo all of the changes in this estimate up until this point. So I can revert the estimate and now it's live. And I can see that change here in live time. Estimate was reverted as it was. And you'll notice all those changes are now no longer in place, And I took two point two million dollars out of this bid. If I want to see all of the previous changes, I can come up here and show all of my changes. And you'll notice it's all still there. It's all still in the history of the estimate. So at any point, if I want to simply come over here and flashback to another point, I can do that. I simply go back into my flashback point and revert this estimate to this state. So this is an excellent tool in the event that I'm making a bunch of changes and I go, you know what? I don't like the last day's worth of changes. I want to undo all of those. I can go back to a point in time from yesterday that I essentially want a reset to. I can also take that revert state, make a copy of the estimate using that estimate as a template when I'm creating a new one, and now I have two copies of a bid at two different points in time. Both of them can be tied to the same project. So great tool, infinite possibilities and how you want to use and control it. Next piece of the puzzle is being able to update labor and equipment rates. So what do I mean by that? Well, if I jump over here to labor setup, and I have all of these changes in my bid, I'm going around and I'm I'm building up my bid. But it's that time of year I need to update my labor rates. I went into my library and I updated my labor rates from my twenty twenty five rates to my twenty twenty six rates or, you know, it's in the fall, in the winter, and I'm updating for twenty twenty seven. I create my twenty twenty seven rates. Well, I know this bid is not going to submit using my twenty twenty six rates. I want to be able to update it without having to go through a bunch of processes of exporting out to Excel and reimporting or coming in here and making manual changes. In both Labor Setup and Equipment Setup, I can come up here to Manage, and I can click Update from Library. What that's going to do, it's just going to allow me to either update an existing rate set or change to another rate set. So if I'm on my twenty twenty five rates and I want to change to my twenty twenty six rates, I can do that. Now, right out of the gate, all it's going to do is it's going to update the local setup. It's not going to actually update your bid. That's what the next two checkboxes are for. As I update those rates, do I want to update my estimate? Yes or no. And then if I choose to update my estimate, we give you one additional choice, and that is update overrides. So what that means is if I have gone into an instance, so I've gone into an activity and I have changed the unit cost of a specific labor craft for whatever reason, we are treating that as you have done that with intention. You did that for a reason. So even if you choose to update the estimate, we're treating that separately. If you want to go nuclear and update every single instance, you want to make sure that you select that update overrides. I select the checkbox, and I click Update. HeavyBid is going to go through, and it's going to update all of the instances of those resources in your bid with the new setups from the library. In the event that a resource is no longer part of that library, but it's in this estimate, we are not removing that resource from the bid. We are only updating items that exist in the library. We will never remove anything from your bid in this in this setup. Alright. I don't see any questions, so I'm gonna keep keep chugging along. The next couple changes we've made is in the pricing screen. So what do I mean by that? In the pricing screen, think of it as your bid pricing in desktop. We brought a couple functions that customers know and love from the desktop into the web, namely desired bid and the closing account routine. So for anyone in desktop who's unfamiliar with desired bid, essentially what it means is I'm going to go and I'm going to tell HeavyBid what the final number is that I want in this estimate. So you'll see here this bid total. I'm at thirteen million one hundred and what is that? Eighty nine thousand. You know what, I'm feeling confident that I can submit this bid at fourteen million and still win. What that does is it tells me that I'm eight hundred and ninety thousand dollars shy. Means I need to put eight hundred and ninety thousand dollars back into my bid. How do I accomplish that? Well, I can come in and I can make manual adjustments to my unit prices. I can, you know, I can make that one hundred dollars a unit, whatever the case is. And I went way overboard. I added one point one million dollars above what my desired bid is. And I can do this song and dance over and over until I get to the number that I want to be at. Or I can use HeavyBid's closing routine. What the closing routine does is it's going to take this net difference here, and it's going to distribute it back into my estimate. So let's pretend that we're starting from scratch. This is what you're going to see. You'll notice here I have my desired bid right here in the top. If I want to change that, I can do that right here and I can see my net difference updates in real time. Again, we do not need to run any summary and spread to get those changes in place, but I can come in and I get to choose what items I want that net difference to be spread to. And you'll notice here as I click those check boxes, all of these numbers update in real time. So I can see how many dollars each pay item is going to receive, as well as what its new total price is. So as I make those adjustments, I can do I can see what change is going to be, I can see what my new total is, I see my new unit price, and I see my new market percent. As I click save, my dollars now redistribute, and I am much closer to that fourteen million five hundred. The next four hundred and fifty dollars I can find a lump sum item I can shove in there or whatever the case is. Let's say I come in and I wanna make it fourteen million again. Again, my net difference is about five hundred thousand. I don't wanna have to go back and reselect everything. We remember your choices now. All I have to do is come in. I see what my potential changes are. In this case, I'm taking four fifteen out of this. I'm taking four ten dollars out of here, seven forty out of here, dollars eighty three thousand out of here. Everything looks good. I click Save. And now I am in a much better spot. I'm at that number that I want to be. Again, making it very easy for you to try and hit that magic number that you are confident you can succeed at. Alright, not seeing any questions and so we're just going to continue right along. Here and we just have one question just pop up. Why do some number fonts for your zero have a dot in the middle of the zero? Those zeros look like eights on my screen. Maybe it's just the screen share. So in this case, the fourteen million with the dot, that is just the text, the font that choice that we are using. I can definitely look into that and see if we can make some changes to make that more apparent that it's a zero. Alright. Checking right along. I've gone through. I've submitted this bid. I've won this bid. Now I need to get it over to accounting. Well, we jump down here to our conform screen. And if you've seen any of the previous webinars, we have the assign cost code screen. This is where you're going to assign your cost code to your activities. All of that's fine and dandy. That hasn't changed at all. What has changed is the additional detail that you already have. If you're used to HeavyBid Desktop, these are known functions. I need to be able to extract specific resources from their activities in order to track them separately. Great example of that is I have a sub that I want to track separately as a budget item, but I don't want to have to go into the bid and remove it from every instance of my of my estimate. So how do I do that? I can come over here to my extract resources. And I'm going go in, I'm going to extract resources. Now, we've implemented this slightly different than what you're used to in the desktop system. In desktop, you have two separate grids, one for extracting all instances of a resource, and then one for extracting individual instances of a resource. We found a way to combine that so you only have to choose once. So what do I mean by that? Well, let's take a look here. We've got this DBlast subcontract item, and if I expand it, I've got four different instances of it. Well, I can choose to extract all instances of it, but I can also choose to extract this one individual instance. When I do that, I now have two different instances. And you'll notice here I have my all extractions, and it's going to extract every occurrence of that dBLAST with the exception of the one that I specifically omit extracted. And you'll notice here when I extract an individual instance, I get that pay item and that activity identifier showing me exactly where this item is being pulled from. Now, as I'm going through here, I can assign specific phase and category records. And I can pull that information from my resource. I can pull it from my accounting code, either at the local setup or at the individual instance. So you have the ability to set the accounting code at the individual resource instance within the activity. You get you get that option. Jacob, I see your note. I'm gonna get to it here in just a second. But if I want to, I'm gonna select my resource, and I'm going to fill it out to phase and category. And now I have my cost codes assigned. This is great. The next piece of that puzzle is if I need to override. You know what? I'm gonna actually do that to create a separator. And it's not showing up for ordering. I'll look into that. But what it's going to do is now I have the ability to override the description and the quantity and the unit, the same options we have in desktop. So if I need to change the description, I just come over here and I can call it, you know, sub four. Lasting. If I want to, I can come over here to the quantity and we're gonna treat it as one lump sum. I can make those changes and what is going to be sent over to accounting without showing or without updating my estimate to have to be reflective of those changes. I can make it here. It does not affect my bid. It only affects how it's being exported out to accounting. Alright. Question is, is HeavyBid web only available to new customers? We're hybrid currently switching from HeavyJob desktop to web. Looking into HeavyBid next, do we have an idea when that will be available? Jacob, you are simply just a couple of weeks ahead of the game here. We are we are hard at work. We actually just finished a utility to help you get those setups from desktop into the web. Now we're working working on the licensing aspect. Once we have the licensing aspect completed, we're gonna be able to handle some of those hybrid customers. And when we say hybrid, the customers that want to run both HeavyBid desktop and HeavyBid on the web at the same time. Will we have the ability to do a rounding routine? Yes. At some point, we will have the rounding routine. That function is not here yet, but it is something that we know we will add, at a future date. Alright. Any other questions? Alright. With that being said, Paul, the floor is yours, my friend. Thank you. Give me just a second to share my screen. Should be this one. Perfect. Alright. We have a couple things to go over in quotes, and I'm going to live demo each of them so that everybody can see. Starting out with our geographic filters. So this is a way to quickly narrow down your search on different vendors. So if we go into a quote folder here and I click add vendor, same as before, I can just click and look through all of my contacts, but we've added in some filters up at the top. So if we see right now, the scroll bar is not very large because we're only looking at people within fifty miles of the project location. If I bump that up to all, we could see the scroll bar is a lot bigger now because we have an entire contact management system worth of vendors in here. We can also switch it to in state only. Again, this is based off the project location that I've added to the project in preconstruction. So the project in this case is in Texas. If I click on in state only, it's going to find me every one of my vendors that I have in the state of Texas. And I can narrow that down even further. So I can say in state only, let's say I'm close to the border between Texas and Louisiana, I might say within a hundred miles, but only on the Texas side. And again, it's gonna narrow it down to that list. Now if it's a little bit easier to visualize that instead of having to search them out the list, I can click on the map here and give it just a second to load, and we can see here is, the project location, this black dot. All of the gray dots are vendors that are outside of the state, and all of the blue dots are vendors inside the state. So if I switch it to in state only, you'll see it gets rid of all the others. And then if I want to say only within a hundred miles, we can see all the ones in Texas disappeared except for the ones within a hundred miles, and this makes it very easy to quickly visualize exactly how close they are. Now if I go into an individual vendor and I click on them here. Nope. I have two in there. That's why it's not. Alright. Let's let's grab an easier one and do this one. When I pull it up, it's going to say this is who it is, in this case, Texas Department of Transparency, and how far away they are from the project location. And then I can just click on select, and it'll bring them over here. And then I can go over to my next one and say, well, I also want this one in here. Go ahead and add that. And now I'm looking for somebody specific, but I don't remember where they are. So I go back into the list. We can see those two are added. And if I added another one here, it shows them here. So it's just another way of being able to filter down the different vendors that you have. The next thing that we have on here is another piece inside the quote folder, and this is our HCSS AI extracted prices. So this is a way of quickly getting the information from a particular quote into the quote folder. So here's just a quick little background, but we're gonna do this one live as well. So if I go into my attachments, I can either do it from an existing document and click on extract prices, or I can click add, which is what I'm gonna do here. I can drag and drop my files, or in this case, we're going to quickly upload one. Oops. Scroll past it, I think. The longest part of this process is trying to find the one that I'm looking for. Alright. We'll do the no address and it'll be fine. Here we go. And I have two options. I can still upload, and this is just going to add the attachment to my quote folder without doing anything else. The other option is I can upload and extract prices. When I click on that button, it's going to run-in the background. And it's going to figure out based on that PDF I just uploaded, who is the vendor, and then from the document I uploaded, what matches these parts in the background. So I had four things inside my quote folder. Regardless of how many things I have in the actual attachment that I uploaded, it's going to try and find these things. So if I throw the entire material book at this that has three thousand different materials, it's only going to find me these four because these are the only four relevant to my quote folder. Over here, we have the price that it pulled out. So in this case, twelve dollars for my number eight stone, And it gives me a confidence rating. Now on these, it's pretty confident. On this one, it's only medium confidence. And I don't know that I trust that. So I'm going to click on the little sparkle icon that says generated by HCSS AI. And it's gonna say, great. I looked through that PDF, and I found on this particular page, this is where I got that twelve dollars from. And I can go, well, okay, number eight stone, number eight stone, price of twelve dollars, price of twelve dollars, that looks good to me. And so I trust this a little bit more. But I also notice over here we have a little warning that says something's up. So if we hover over that, it says suggested document quantity of twenty five, whoops, is, differs from the quote quantity. So in my vendor or sorry. In the document that I got, it said twenty five quantity. And over here, we can see two hundred and fifty eight for my quote folder quantity. And now I can determine is that something that I care about or not. In this case, I that doesn't seem right. I'm not gonna bring that in. I can uncheck that. And now when I extract the prices, it will not update that in my quote folder. This other one says twenty five dollars. It's pretty confident, but we also have a warning here with the same differing quantity. And I know that for this quantity, they sent me that it was twenty five dollars, but I I know this is actually gonna be thirty dollars. So I'm gonna change that. Now I can review and it's gonna give me a quick little overview. I'm only bringing in three prices because I chose not to bring one in. So I'm going to apply those changes. And even though I didn't add them into my vendor list, it said, hey, I was able to find them. I confirmed that was the right person or sorry, the right company. And it adds them to the quote folder for me and brings those in. So we can see this one does not have a price because I did not bring it in. This one has thirty dollars because I changed it from twenty five to thirty. And these two, I did not enter. These two was from the AI. And so it gives us a little sparkle saying, hey, this was brought in from AI. It was not touched by a human. It was just accepted. Oh, we did have two questions that came in, if we can take a moment to answer them. Yeah, definitely. The first one is, if a vendor has multiple locations, will the vendor search utilize just the main headquarters address or multiple addresses for all locations? It would bring in each of them individually. So that's actually a great example and something that I think yeah. We can even see right here. Sorry. I know it's a little bit cramped in here. Let's oops. Let's just shrink the activity real quick in the quantity. Alright. So here when I expand this, you can see amazing asphalt construction a main. This a main in parentheses is the particular office. So this works with the adding a vendor as well. If I have multiple locations, let's say I have amazing asphalt construction, and they have a location in Texas, a location in California and a location in New York. Each of those locations is going to show up separately in the vendor. And if I restrict it to just Texas, when I choose to add that vendor, it will only add the Texas location. If I want to add all three, then I can add all three locations, but it is location based and that's set up under contacts in the offices for anybody who is currently utilizing that. Great. Thank you, Paul. The next question is, will HeavyBid Web have a bid invite feature to send to potential subs? Yes. You are a little bit ahead of the game. We are about to or we are starting work very, very soon, like within the next couple of weeks. On the subcontractor workflow, we started out with resources. After we do the subcontractor quote folders, we will work on solicitations, and we already have a lot of that ready to go or ready to start developing rather. So yes, the the rest of this year, we're going to be highly focused on subcontractors and then on solicitations. Great. That's exciting. And last question is, does the AI feature include add on load fees that are sorry. On load fees or environmental fees that are in additional to a price per ton? Right now, most likely not. It depends on how you have it set up. So if you just have it set up as the individual resource, in this case, the number eight stone, it's only going to be looking for that. Now, if you have a separate line item in your estimate, that is a material resource or something like that, that is environmental fee, it will also search for that. One of the things that we already know needs to happen, especially with subcontractors, is there's a lot of conditions, stipulations, inclusions, exclusions, all that good stuff, just conditions of things that may affect the price but are not reflected in the unit cost time or unit price times quantity. So we are already setting that up to search through documents and be able to pull those out so that you can compare apples to apples because I might have amazing asphalt construction that includes load fees, and Texas Department of Transparency does not. And so I want to still compare unit prices on that, but I need to be aware that one of those has more on top of it besides just that unit price. So we are aware of it. That is going to be coming in the ideally in twenty twenty six. I don't want to hard commit to a timeline yet. It will be coming sometime in that subcontractor slash solicitation improvements. That is something we are aware of. Another question is, will you be able to send attachments such as drawings with the invite? Yes. You will be able to take attachments off the quote folder, off the project. If you have more questions, please reach out to me. I'd love to talk with you and see what kind of attachments you expect to include on there. But yes, things like the plans, things like potentially takeoffs, the all the different pieces that you need to be able to send over. Yes, that will be sent as part of the invite. And then ideally, when they are responding to you with a quote of some sort, that will get automatically attached to the solicitation and will get automatically attached into your quote folder with the option to go ahead and bring that in with HCSS AI so that all of that's happening in one place for you. All right. Thanks, Paul. And another one is, can the AI feature consider escalations depending on job durations too? No. No. Go ahead. Examples are Examples are rebar that increases every three months. Right now, it does not handle that. Right now, it only handles exactly what is in your quote folder. So if I have one if I just have rebar in here, it will just find the rebar price for me. It does not consider escalations. That is something that I expect will be addressed in potentially the advanced version of HeavyBid for some of those more niche situations or the the slightly more in-depth view of it. Right. And to to drive that feature home, yeah, escalation is not currently in the web version. It will come at a later date. But this this function as well will also tie into Paul's earlier comment where we'll need to take in the additional, information that's included in the quotes, inclusions, exclusions, discounts, etcetera, and this would fall in line with that. The other thing, if y'all have more questions, keep them coming. We'll we'll address them as they go. The other thing that I want to, mention on here that I think some people were excited for before I jump into the last major update is we also added in this auto update estimate button. So previously, if I wanted to make a change let me turn this off. Make a change. So I choose oh, that was a bad example because that one doesn't have a price. Here we go. So I select a vendor and that's great for me. This now has a selected vendor, but now I have to go into the estimate, go through the entire process of updating the estimate. We've done two things here. The first is now I can just update estimate at the top of this quote folder, and that will update the estimate with any changes that exist in this quote folder. It will not do it for other quote folders. It's one quote folder at a time. If I want to update the estimate with all the changes from all the quote folders, that would be done from inside the estimate. But I may not wanna have to sit here and go back and forth and try and remember what did I update, what did I not. And so we've added in this auto update estimate. And when this is on, if I make a change in here, it immediately updates the estimate. So you can see those estimate resources were updated successfully. And so anytime that I make one of those changes that would affect the estimate, it goes here. An important thing to note, this does require permission to edit the estimate. So if I am somebody who has permissions for quotes, but I do not have permissions for the estimate, this will be turned off for me and there is no way for me to turn it on. Now if I go in and don't have permissions and I make whatever changes I need to, so we get rid of a selected vendor, for instance, and the next person comes in and they have auto update estimate on, as soon as they make a change that would affect the estimate, it will take that change that I was unable to do before and update it. So basically, any time that I have this on and I make a change, it will take all outstanding changes and update the estimate. I think I saw a couple of chats come in. There was one, Aaron had answered it, Paul, but the last one is on desktop, the update estimate. Oh, I think this is a response into your answer, Aaron. No. This this is separate. It's basically saying, Bob's saying that in desktop, draw attention to the fact that we've made changes or we've selected a vendor, in the estimate, but we haven't applied that price to the estimate itself. Are we gonna have some sort of indication here that a price has been selected but not applied to the estimate? Yeah. So if I turn this off and then let's change, well, actually, let's set this to, like, eighteen dollars and then select a vendor here. So in this case, I have selected a vendor. I have auto update estimate off. And we can see right here, it says out of sync with linked estimate resource. And it will do this for each individual thing. So if there is somebody who either does not have this ability because they don't have edit estimate permissions, or if you just prefer to work in here and then update all at once, we are going to give you these little warnings that say what you see here is not what's reflected in the estimate because I I have a price in here that does not exist in the estimate because I haven't updated yet. And this will happen for all of them. So there's a couple ways. Once I'm done, once I have all my changes made and I'm ready to update the estimate, I can either just click update estimate or I can click on here and it's going to select all of the different instances. Let's go ahead and do the same thing down here so I can show it off a little bit better. Oops. There. And that. So when I click on any one of these, it will select all of the instances that are out of sync inside the quote folder. And all I have to do is press sync resources, and it will update the estimate with those resources. Any other questions on this screen before I dive into the estimating side? Alright. On the estimating side, the previous workflow for this was, you would start your estimate, you would have to jump into quotes, you would go into your quote list here, you would create folders, you would create it based on a project, you would choose your project, you would choose the estimate, you would go through that whole wizard, and then you would finally have your your folders here. That was not the most user friendly workflow. It technically worked, but it was not fun to do. So we've made some changes to that. Actually, but well, I'll show you what it looks like and then we'll we'll show you the starting process for it. So here, I'm in an estimate. I'm actually in the exact same estimate as here. If I go into the quotes tab, I have a couple more options now. The first thing is it shows me an overview of all of my folders. So we can see here I have one, two, three, four folders. And in here, I have my four folders. If I see something that looks wrong at any point in time, I can click on the name of that folder, and it's going to bring me directly into that folder. So I can go and check and see what's wrong, what's not showing up. Sorry, my Internet's a little bit slow. Normally, the the timing is not quite so long on that. The other thing we do is show you the folder price. So here we have asphalt. I have sixty four thousand nine hundred eighty nine. And underneath that, I have plug price. And the reason is, if we go back into that folder that we were just looking at, asphalt, I don't have a selected vendor for everything. So I don't know how much everything is supposed to be. Let's auto update estimates. Let's set all of our people here. Oops. That should be eighteen, we said. And quickly set that up. So I had the plug price because I didn't have a selected vendor for everything. Now I do have a selected vendor for everything. And when I go back in here and give it just a second, it shows my completion jumped up to one hundred, because now all of my resources in here have a selected vendor. It switched out the price for the new price, and it switched out the plug price for the actual vendor that I have here. If I have multiple vendors, let me see. Let's go ahead and put this at fifteen and change my vendor here and jump back in here, we now show the updated price, and we show that there's multiple vendors here. So we either have plug price, a single vendor with the vendor name, or multiple vendors. It also shows me how many unique resources I have, which means, in this case, the rolled up version. So I have one, two, three, four unique resources. Now I have several instances of these resources, but I have four unique resources. And it shows the number of vendors that I have in the folder. Back to the question we had earlier on different locations. So if I have amazing asphalt construction, and I have their California location, their Texas location and their New York location, it would show us three vendors. If I don't like this particular layout, if I want it in a list, I can switch to the list view in the top right here. It's going be the exact same information we just saw. We have our quote folder, our scopes of work, I can click on these to jump into the folder. The only difference is I have notes section here, that's a little bit hard to show in the card view. The final thing that we have is our resource list. So this is going to be every instance or sorry, every resource that I have in the folder or in the estimate. And this is going to be rolled up by the unique resource. And a unique resource is a combination of code and unit. So if I have material for the crusher run by the ton, and I also have this exact same resource by the square or by the cubic yard, then that would show twice in here. This is a very convenient way to be able to quickly see, okay, who am I missing selected vendors for? Jump straight into that quote folder and select my vendors. I can also organize and see what is not in a quote folder. So in this case, I have asphalt, concrete, down here I have Stripe, but I can see I have two things in here that are in miscellaneous. Reminder, miscellaneous just means this is something that doesn't have a quote folder, so we created it in there. So I can go in and I can create a new quote folder up at the top. And I can go into the quote folder and move things around. The other thing that I can do in here, if I go back to my card view, is I can combine quote folders. So maybe I want everything from the miscellaneous folder inside my concrete folder. I just select by clicking each of those folders, click combine, and it says, great. Here's everything that you have in both of those. What do you wanna name the new folder that contains everything? And in this case, I would say a concrete. I can combine them, and then we're down to just three quote folders. I feel like I saw more questions come in. Yes. We have two questions for you. The first one is, can we get a a pop out that shows the multiple vendor names? Do you want it to be where you click on this and it gives you the list of vendors? Or is it okay to have it be like a hover? Right now I'm hovering, I don't know if this shows on screen share or not, but underneath my mouse it says multiple vendors. Would it be okay to just hover and list the vendors that way? Quick or hover is fine. I will look into that. The answer is probably. Thank you, Paul. The other question is, can you enter notes per vendor price? Perhaps a price is entered as low, but there is a reason we don't want to use them such as being noncompliant or lead time is too long. So can we put those types of notes connected to a price? Right now make sure I'm unmuted. Good. Right now, all the notes live in one place. So you could edit the notes, type in whatever. So amazing whoops. Amazing asphalt construction was second lowest but was quicker. And I can save that. So right now, all of it is in one place. We are going to be adding notes for decision making, as well as notes for when you're changing something. So if I use extracted prices, and it came in at thirteen, and I've changed it to fifteen, we're going to add in the ability to add a note to it at that point. And so you'd be able to see that. So right now, it's all in one place. We are looking at ways to make it a little bit more granular so that you can have the notes where they need to be in there to give you the most amount of context. Awesome. Thanks, Paul. And that's all the questions I see for now. Awesome. One quick little thing on here. Well, actually, let's just make an estimate live and show you that way. So we're going to create a new estimate. It'll be on sync of ranch. Sure. And we're going to template off one two four, and we will create. So I've created a brand new estimate. In this case, I templated it because that makes it a little bit easier for me to demo, but it works either way. I've added in some pay items, some activities, some materials, and I'm ready to start quoting, at least kick off that process. Like I said before, you had to go into the quotes tab here, either in a new tab or leave the estimate, come over here, create folders based on project, blah, blah, blah. We've made it a little bit quicker now. So you just go to the quotes tab. It says, hey, we don't have any quotes yet. You click start quoting, and it shows you everything. So here we have our scopes of work. Again, these are the items that did not have a scope of work, so they got thrown into miscellaneous. I click create quote folders. Boom. I'm done. We're ready to go. It switched from a several minute two different applications process into what, ten seconds maybe? And I'm ready to jump into the individual folders and start making whatever changes I need to soliciting my different vendors, entering prices, all that good stuff. That is all I have for everybody. I assume we're going to continue to take questions here, but for now, I'm going to hand it back over to Melissa. All right. Thank you, guys. That was a lot of exciting new releases and updates across preconstruction and HeavyBid. And thanks for entering your questions. If you have any additional ones, please drop them in the chat. We can go back and demo whatever you have questions about or answer it on the spot. Absolutely Bob, we're looking forward to it as well. Yeah, once that's ready to go, we'll definitely send out communication about the ability to do the hybrid approach. As a reminder, we're gonna send a follow-up email with the recording for this webinar. So if you have colleagues that wanna watch and see what we've shown today, you can forward it to them or watch it again if you like and go through the step by steps on how to do these new releases. I'm not seeing any additional questions come in. We'll hang around for another minute just to see if anybody joins us. But otherwise, have a great rest of your day, and we'll see you next time. Thanks, everyone.
