- The cost savings from the calculator are determined based upon the survey of 110 HeavyJob customers that have been using the software for a minimum of two years.
- The survey was designed to determine the value that customers receive from various features of HeavyJob, including:
- Margin improvement from production planning
- Foreman productivity improvement
- Project Manager productivity improvement
- Payroll department time savings
- Payroll error reduction
- Billing accuracy improvement
- Billing and Payment speed improvement
- Equipment hour tracking and reduction
- The survey asked customers to estimate productivity improvements, payroll error prevention, and margin improvement to calculate the value a company would see from HeavyJob for each Project Manager and Foreman using HeavyJob.
- To determine the dollar value of these improvements, the calculator uses wage information from the US Bureau of Labor and Statistics for foremen and project managers in the construction industry.
