  • The cost savings from the calculator are determined based upon the survey of 110 HeavyJob customers that have been using the software for a minimum of two years.
  • The survey was designed to determine the value that customers receive from various features of HeavyJob, including:
    • Margin improvement from production planning
    • Foreman productivity improvement
    • Project Manager productivity improvement
    • Payroll department time savings
    • Payroll error reduction
    • Billing accuracy improvement
    • Billing and Payment speed improvement
    • Equipment hour tracking and reduction
  • The survey asked customers to estimate productivity improvements, payroll error prevention, and margin improvement to calculate the value a company would see from HeavyJob for each Project Manager and Foreman using HeavyJob.
  • To determine the dollar value of these improvements, the calculator uses wage information from the US Bureau of Labor and Statistics for foremen and project managers in the construction industry.
