HCSS Safety is a web and mobile application designed for heavy civil construction that helps your company create a comprehensive safety culture throughout the organization by putting safety directly in your workers’ hands.
HCSS Safety allows your field workers to hold and record meetings and toolbox talks; perform inspections and job hazard analyses (JHAs); record near misses, incidents, and safety observations; track and manage employee skills and certifications; and maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, and DOD regulations. They can do all of this from a tablet or smartphone and send the data back to the office without filling out a single piece of paper.
HCSS Safety also allows safety managers to track all reported data digitally on an easy-to-use and customizable dashboard, eliminating tons of paperwork that can get lost or filed away. Your safety professional can analyze the data from the field, run reports, and spot dangerous trends that may be popping up on the job site to help them catch potential problems before they cause costly and dangerous accidents.
HCSS Safety is designed for both the office and the field, for use by owners and executives, safety professionals, superintendents, foremen, and crew leads.
HCSS Safety Manager allows your owners, executives, and safety professionals to easily analyze trends on the job site, prevent incidents, and achieve OSHA compliance, all while reducing cumbersome paperwork. The easy-to-use web app allows them to track all reported data from the field using the customizable dashboard.
The HCSS Safety Field mobile app allows your superintendents, foremen, and crew leads to conduct and record meetings and toolbox talks and document attendance using signatures or photos of the meeting attendees. They also can perform inspections and job hazard analyses (JHAs) based on pre-built templates and capture near misses, incidents, and safety observations in the field.
HCSS Safety integrates directly with HeavyJob to receive all of your jobs, equipment, and employee setup data from the job management software directly to HCSS Safety instantly and automatically.
Pull safety meeting attendees directly from existing time cards in HeavyJob or from HCSS Dispatcher’s Daily Dispatch so everyone in your crew is included at once, and send meeting and inspection reports to HeavyJob time cards and daily diaries.
HCSS Safety also integrates with HeavyBid by tying safety documents directly to your activity code books. When creating a new estimate, you can to set up job hazard analyses (JHAs), meetings, and inspections in advance based on the activities you are bidding.
Custom or pre-built JHAs, meetings, and inspections stored in the HCSS Safety system will pull directly into HeavyBid and can be attached to corresponding activities. Those same documents will also be added to the corresponding cost codes in HeavyJob.
HCSS Safety licenses are individually name per user, so the license belongs to the individual and can travel from device to device. You should have one license for each person who will be using the system either in the office or in the field. Licenses may be designated as Manager and/or Field as needed and can be changed at any time.
A user can be logged into the web and the mobile app at the same time, and every user with a license may access the app at the same time, if necessary.
