HCSS joined Trimble as a Platinum Partner of the CG/LA Global Infrastructure Leadership Forum in late March, and worked jointly with Trimble and CG/LA to support the Global Infrastructure Challenge.
The Challenge was designed to generate new and powerful ideas for performance enhancement, investment, construction, long-term operation , and project maintenance of global infrastructure.
Currently, the world spends only half of what it should on infrastructure annually. The Global Infrastructure Challenge was created to solve this problem by engaging users more intensively and efficiently in the infrastructure discussion early on.
Contestants submitted ideas for how to fix infrastructure issues using policy, technology, or financial investment. The winners were announced during the 12th Global Infrastructure Leadership forum on March 26-28 and presented their ideas to an audience of more than 750 global infrastructure executives.
“HCSS has been working with CG/LA Infrastructure since 2015,” said JP Giometti, HCSS Executive Director of Global Strategy and Business Development. “This is the right time for us to expand our relationship as we enter new global markets. CG/LA is a great platform for us, and this is a fantastic opportunity to reach a wider audience and to support global infrastructure investment.”
CG/LA Infrastructure is a Washington, D.C.-based organization that creates long-term value in the world’s infrastructure markets by providing executives, regulators, investors, and project developers across the public-private spectrum.
“HCSS is a great new partner for the Global Infrastructure Challenge and CG/LA as a whole, given their focus in helping heavy civil construction and engineering companies leverage technology to enhance project outcomes, and we are pleased to work with them on this initiative,” CG/LA Chairman and CEO Norman F. Anderson said.
