The Bid Summary is the process in HeavyBid for converting an estimate into a unit price bid so there is a realistic correlation between your biditem unit costs and your starting biditem prices. This class covers how to handle indirect costs, markups, add-ons, contingency items, inter-company quotes, mobilization items and other cost elements as you turn a cost estimate into a unit-priced bid. Using Alternates to Arrive at the Best Possible Bid

HeavyBid has many types of alternates to help you work up, examine, and discuss alternate strategies and what their affect would be on the bid. How to Quickly Change Anything in Your Estimate

There are many shortcuts in HeavyBid for quickly copying and changing data throughout the estimate that may not be readily apparent to estimators who spend most of their time on the main entry screen. This class covers fast ways to perform activities such as changing resource rates, all labor rates at once (such as a new union agreement), all equipment rates at once (such as blue book rates), replacing crews, changing productions, and many more potentially time-consuming changes after most of the initial estimate is complete.
