JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works in cooperation with other personnel to ensure the implementation of the best plan of execution for a project. Ensures projects are budgeted efficiently to maximize profitability.
- Administers the activities of superintendents, vendors and subcontractors including the selection of subs; evaluation of safety, quality, and performance; and corrective action to ensure an effective and efficient organization.
- Develops and maintains customer relationships to enhance company’s ability to procure projects, reduce risk, and ensure operational efficiency. Acts as liaison between Bo-Mac and the customer with regard to billings, collections, changes, back-charges, and contractual issues. Involved in assessing market opportunities and developing new customers.
- Works in cooperation with other company personnel to negotiate and execute sales contracts consistent with Bo-Mac policies. Ensures terms, conditions, and schedules are favorable and in the company’s best interests. Negotiates subcontractor terms and vendor contracts.
- Monitors the overall safety issues on the project. Assists in the analysis and detection of potential safety problems, including pre-job mobilization meetings. Performs safety audits and inspections as required.
- Assists in developing estimates, project schedules, and project proposals.
- Assists with the development and coordination of material and equipment schedules and promotes their efficient use.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
The preferred candidate will have a four-year Engineering or Construction Management degree or equivalent technical training or related experience. Minimum of five years or more of experience assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity. Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people to achieve maximum efficiency. Good oral and written communication skills. Experience with MS Office, Primavera P6 and HCSS Heavy Job are a plus.

- Develop schedules and man-hour forecasts. The schedule needs to integrate all significant engineering and construction work which should be planned, scheduled and resource leveled.
- Monitor and update activities to keep the schedule current and the project(s) on track.
- Responsible for maintaining standard Project Control work practices for the Project Controls department with the support of the Responsible Engineers and Project Managers.
