Ownership history.

HCSS has been an employee-owned company since 1998. At that time, Mike Rydin (HCSS Founder and President/CEO) sold 25% of the company to employees via an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) with the idea of motivating all employees to think and act like owners. Today, Mike Rydin is still the largest shareholder of HCSS.

With profit-sharing, employees know when they make a positive impact on the company’s bottom-line as well as an impact on their own pocketbook. For the past 10 years, employees have received substantial profit sharing, both in cash and ESOP stock.
