Fundamentals of the Time Card This class will feature an in-depth view of the time card, focusing on the basics, and showing some of the more advanced features. Some of the topics to be covered include:
  • basic cost code, production quantity, employee, and equipment entry;
  • using filters for employees, equipment, and cost code selection;
  • overtime entry;
  • meter readings;
  • designating cost codes as T&M work;
  • Material-Subcontractor-Expense transactions entered through the Time Card;
  • copying Time Cards;
  • Time Card reports;
  • and Time Card revisions.

Session 2 — Thursday 3:30 4:45
Being Proactive with the Production Planner in HeavyJob Learn how to use the production planner and give the field the power to analyze their crew and production to form a new plan. Learn how you can use the Production Planner to compare various crew production scenarios.
Session 3 —Friday 8:00 9:15
Fundamentals of Diary Entry and Production Analysis Discuss effective ways to setup your system to capture valuable notes and job information at the field level. Learn how to use the Diary entry screen for notes, attaching documents, scanning field documents, and using the Fill in Forms to help transfer information electronically. Learn how to get the most out of HeavyJob by using the analysis screens, a wide variety of production reports, and tracking daily notes.
Session 4 — Friday 9:30 10:45
Cost to Complete (Repeated) A vital duty of project managers and engineers is to project job cost to completion. With HeavyJob's Cost to Complete feature, you can view historical information, then project the cost to complete based on budgeted, current, or any desired production. Upon completion of Cost to Complete, we will demonstrate how to export the information to give your field personnel reasonable production targets.

Using Material-Subcontractor-Expenses in HeavyJob We'll cover the detailed process of how the Material-Subcontractor-Expense (MSE) items are set up and entered into your HeavyJob system. We'll also look at reports affected by your MSE entries, and learn different ways to enter the MSE transactions and what works best for your company.

Using Safety in HeavyJob (Repeated) Want to know who attended your company's safety meetings? Want to be able to see if a particular person has attended all the meetings they are required to this year? Then you need to attend this class!
