Overhead Calculation Guest Instructor: Matt Stevens

The right application of costs can greatly improve a contractor's financial picture. With an average net profit before tax of 2% to 5% for most construction contractors, the need for accuracy is high. In other words, the difference between reward and punishment is slim. Part of getting work is knowing the final costs of the project. If we know our final cost, then the “poker game” starts. The Direct Costing Method of Overhead Cost Application is the most exact method. This course will explain the process and mechanics along with live examples of how it's entered into HeavyBid.
