Session 1 — Thursday 2:00 – 3:15
FTP Setup and Troubleshooting	In this class, we'll analyze the FTP setup for HCSS products and the functionality behind FTP use. We'll also cover basic troubleshooting steps for finding and diagnosing problems with FTP from an HCSS perspective.
Introducing HeavyJob to Your Foremen (Repeated)	Want to be able to get field employees at any level working effectively in HeavyJob? Then this is the class for you. Learn useful processes and procedures to help you avoid common training pitfalls. This class is repeated on Friday from 1:30 – 2:45.
Session 2 — Thursday 3:30 – 4:45
General Troubleshooting Tips	Learn basic concepts of software and hardware troubleshooting. Learn how to analyze problematic symptoms and determine the root cause of the problem. Learn about resources readily available to help you repair your own computer.
Interface Across Your Place Lab (Repeated)	Get an overview of how HCSS products operate and integrate with each other and your accounting system. See HCSS in action as we take a look at a day in the life of HCSS Construction Co. This class is repeated on Thursday from 3:30 – 4:45. Sign up early because space is limited.
Session 3 —Friday 8:00 – 9:15
Disaster Recovery Tips Learned from Hurricane Ike	Hurricane Ike hit Houston on a Friday night in September of 2008. By Saturday morning, nearly 100% of the city was without power, including HCSS' office. This class will examine some of the key strategies that enabled HCSS to be back up-and-running for our customers with almost no interruption. We'll also share some of the lessons we learned to make our disaster recovery efforts easier and more complete. This will be a great real-world discussion of when Disaster Recovery plans need to go into effect.
Setting Up HeavyBid for Electronic Bidding Interfaces	This class will provide the steps necessary to tailor HeavyBid's powerful electronic bidding feature to your company's needs. Course material will cover creating a library estimate, building an activity codebook, populating the biditem codebook, and tying all of these elements together to bring speed and efficiency to your operation. Guided discussion will shed some light on overcoming speed bumps commonly encountered during setup. You should leave this class with information to make a good plan for streamlining your electronic bidding process.
Session 4 — Friday 9:30 – 10:45

The Nitty-Gritty Details of HeavyJob Setup Information	Have you ever wondered what all the tabs and options under the Setup menu in HeavyJob are used for? In this class, you will learn how to take advantage of important options. Additionally, you will learn how the new Resource Library is different from the Job master. You will also learn how to effectively use the Merge Setups function to keep all your resources up-to-date across your jobs.
Session 5 — Friday 11:00 – 12:15
Managing HCSS Products in Your Organization	Learn technical details about the integration between all HCSS products. Learn about getting information flowing smoothly between HeavyBid, HeavyJob, The Dispatcher, and your accounting system.
Remote Field Administration	Getting key information to your field personnel is vital to your business. This class will cover all aspects of getting that information to your HeavyJob/Field users so they can accurately manage their projects. Topics include keeping HeavyJob updated to the latest version, sending out new jobs, using forms, and exporting new setup information, such as cost codes, employees, equipment, etc. You will also learn how to set up communication between HeavyJob/Manager and HeavyJob/Field using either e-mail, FTP, or direct file transfer.
Session 6 — Friday 1:30 – 2:45
HeavyJob/Web	See the nuts and bolts of HeavyJob/Web. This class will be both technical (we will show you how to set up HeavyJob/Web on a web server and configure it to work with HeavyJob) and evaluative (we will go over the differences between HeavyJob/Web and HeavyJob/Field).
Introducing HeavyJob to Your Foremen (Repeated)	Want to be able to get field employees at any level working effectively in HeavyJob? Then this is the class for you. Learn useful processes and procedures to help you avoid common training pitfalls. This class is repeated on Friday from 1:30 – 2:45.
Understanding the Data Integration Studio	Learn how HeavyJob can be updated automatically with employee, equipment, and budget information from your company's accounting system. Further discussion will focus on how costs and production data from your accounting system can be used to “True Up” HeavyJob.
Session 7 — Friday 3:00 – 4:15
HCSS Integration Discussion	Come share your experiences with interfaces between HCSS products and other software. Learn from others and come up with “best practices” when using HCSS products and services.
Troubleshooting HCSS Products	Learn how HCSS products work and how to mold your troubleshooting techniques into a method that will assist you in understanding how the systems work.
