| Disaster Recovery Tips Learned from Hurricane Ike |
Hurricane Ike hit Houston on a Friday night in September of 2008. By Saturday morning, nearly 100% of the city was without power, including HCSS' office. This class will examine some of the key strategies that enabled HCSS to be back up-and-running for our customers with almost no interruption. We'll also share some of the lessons we learned to make our disaster recovery efforts easier and more complete. This will be a great real-world discussion of when Disaster Recovery plans need to go into effect. |

This class will provide the steps necessary to tailor HeavyBid's powerful electronic bidding feature to your company's needs. Course material will cover creating a library estimate, building an activity codebook, populating the biditem codebook, and tying all of these elements together to bring speed and efficiency to your operation. | Remote Field Administration |
Getting key information to your field personnel is vital to your business. This class will cover all aspects of getting that information to your HeavyJob/Field users so they can accurately manage their projects. Topics include keeping HeavyJob updated to the latest version, sending out new jobs, using forms, and exporting new setup information, such as cost codes, employees, equipment, etc. You will also learn how to set up communication between HeavyJob/Manager and HeavyJob/Field using either e-mail, FTP, or direct file transfer. |
