HCSS believes in innovation and flexibility, therefore we do not limit the way in which you implement the software. HeavyJob/Manager can be installed on a single desktop computer, an in-office network, or using remote desktop applications via terminal servers.

HeavyJob/Field can be used on a variety of hardware configurations, ranging from desktop computers, laptops, palm pilots, a pocket PC, or any device running Windows Mobile 5 or higher. The laptop computer has become the tool of choice for foremen using the system, but flexibility is there to support what works best for your company.

Many different file types can be attached to the diary entry screen, allowing you to keep track of what happened on the job via digital pictures or attaching forms for future reference. If you have documents that must be signed in the field, HCSS even offers a signing pad that allows employees to digitally sign documents in the field. Whether it is for company forms that are being attached to the day’s diary entry, a safety form, or if your employees must sign their time cards, we have the solution for you. Excel, Word, and PDF files can be digitally signed, and you can be confident that it is secure and compliant with federal regulations on digital signature capture.

HeavyJob also supports the use of a scanner to digitize paper forms and attach them to the job. A small USB scanner can be attached to the foreman’s laptop and they will be able to email a signed inspector report back to the office immediately. Truck tickets can be scanned in and attached to the diary for record keeping purposes. Rather than sifting through file folders to find an accident report from two years ago, you can now run a search on HeavyJob/Manager for all accident reports and immediately find the one in question. HeavyJob eliminates headaches created by stacks of paper and allows you to streamline your business processes.
