Setting up jobs and job resources can be a cumbersome task. To prevent you from having to set up information multiple times, HCSS provides a custom program that will extract information you specify from your accounting system to be brought into HeavyJob. The Data Integration Studio (DIS) is an automated way to link your accounting and HeavyJob setup information.

Double entry is an inconvenience and often leads to errors or inconsistencies in your data. DIS solves this problem by extracting jobs, cost codes, employees, and equipment from the accounting system and adding all new information into HeavyJob. This process saves both time and money and also prevents errors when sending time and other information from HeavyJob back to your Accounting system.

DIS can be run as a scheduled process, run on demand, or triggered by an event such as a scheduled process. An audit trail and detailed logs show you exactly what has been brought over to HeavyJob and when.

DIS is not a package included in HeavyJob, since it is an interface that will be customized to your company’s needs and specifications by our developers. This is one of the few interfaces we charge for, but the benefits far outweigh the costs.
