HCSS’ HeavyBid estimating software is used by more than 20,000 infrastructure estimators who estimate and bid heavy/highway, earthwork, utility, and related construction. There are three levels of HeavyBid to accommodate any size contractor, from the small contractor up to contractors bidding multi billion dollar joint ventures. The product can create an unlimited number of estimates at any size; interface with more than 35 accounting packages and Dept. of Transportation systems; contains bid-day quote capability; allows users to change resource cost and have it apply throughout the entire estimate; and HCSS provides 24/7 instant support. The product contains import/export capabilities with Microsoft Excel, helping to create a user-friendly working environment for workers of all skill levels.

 

HeavyJob

The HeavyJob field management software is focused on helping foremen/ superintendents record daily jobsite information, daily timecards, equipment hours, progress quantities, material receipt usage, and daily notes using a laptop. The software program allows users to run what-if scenarios to determine how to perform certain tasks better. They are also able to attach photographs, electronic forms, and daily diary notes that are easily searchable. In addition, the system is able to transmit timecard hours electronically into payroll, eliminating data entry during the payroll stage.
