All HCSS products can be easily installed onto any Operating System that can service Windows-based clients. As long as permissions are set, even non-IT people can install or update the programs. HeavyBid is not very resource intensive as memory and moderate hard drive space are the only factors when adding the program to the server. Microsoft Windows 98SE and later are supported as well as Windows Server 2000 and later. HeavyBidSQL, when released in 2009, will be supported on Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
