Fast Bid Pricing and Submittals

HeavyBid makes pricing and submitting your bid as quick and easy as possible. HeavyBid specializes in unit price bidding, and the Bid Pricing screen will give you everything necessary to price your bid exactly how you need. Your final bid price can be manually adjusted or calculated by a number of fast, automated routines built into the software. The screen below shows the top portion of the Bid Pricing screen, where you can quickly enter your bid prices.

The screen below shows the bottom portion of the Bid Pricing screen. Notice how important information is always available at-a-glance: grand total of the bid, current status of selected minorities in comparison to the goals, markup in the job, customizable key indicators that you have set up, desired bid amounts, and any adjustments that need to be taken into account.

Advanced rounding and closing routines allow you to set a desired bid and spread dollars around to whatever items you please. These procedures take virtually no time at all and allow you to price several different scenarios in a short amount of time. And don’t forget about the 24-hour instant phone support if you get stuck or have a question during crunch time.

Once your bid is complete, preparing it for submittal could not be easier. HeavyBid allows you to close your bid out in several different ways. You can print or email a customized bid proposal that includes your company logo, or send it to Excel. Printing on your state’s DOT bidform is included as well by simply selecting your state and pressing the print button. HeavyBid even allows you to export your bid to an electronic format such as Expedite for states that use the electronic submittal process.
