Customizable Screens

HeavyBid makes it easy to customize screens that allow you to view the exact data you need to see. All screens in the system feature a customize tab, which allows you to select specific viewable information. You can even set this tab to appear by default, and HeavyBid will always open tables to display the information you have selected. There are several options available to you in the customize tab:

• Select Columns

  By clicking the customize tab, checking the boxes for the information you would like to see, and clicking ‘OK’, you can add or remove any column.

  

• Move Columns

  By clicking the column header, and dragging to the location on the screen you like, you can easily rearrange columns to appear in the order you prefer.

  

• Sort by Column

  In the Bid Pricing Screen, you can even click on the column header and sort the columns by ascending or descending order. For example, you can sort by bid total so you can check the ‘big ticket’ items first in your pricing screen.

  

• Filter customized data

  After customizing your screen, you can take this one step further by filtering the necessary data to be displayed. In this example, you can see that the data shown is on the customize screen and there are filters applied to only view the “PIPE” items in the “Summary Group 2”. This will be very useful when trying to report on a specific group, or if you are only responsible for a small portion of a larger bid.

  

  HeavyBid stores the window positions and customize tab options for each user, allowing everyone to use HeavyBid to see just the data that is important to them.
