We interface with more accounting systems than anyone else and are devoted to developing new interfaces when we encounter new systems. This custom integration to each new accounting system is included with the software purchase at no extra charge. HeavyBid can send the starting budget for an estimate out to your accounting system. We currently work with over forty different accounting packages, and if your company uses a different system, we will be happy to work with you in developing an interface to make the data transfer occur smoothly, usually with no custom programming charges. We also integrate with popular scheduling systems such as Microsoft Project and Primavera. This allows you the flexibility to schedule your work using the method most efficient for your business. HCSS also provides powerful job costing software that will give your field personnel the ability to track their progress against the budget on a day to day basis. No more waiting for a report from accounting at the end of the month to determine how things are going on-site. Starting budgets can be sent from HeavyBid to HeavyJob along with estimator notes and crews. This helps your field personnel correct their workflow much earlier in the process, driving profitability. HeavyJob can send its electronic time card information to your accounting system which can streamline your payroll process.
HeavyBid also integrates with our resource management software, The Dispatcher. You can send crews into The Dispatcher as “needs” to request certain employees or pieces of equipment for later work. If you used the scheduling module in HeavyBid, those scheduling needs will be automatically scheduled in The Dispatcher.
If your company is using our FuelerPlus application, actual fuel consumption information can be sent back into HeavyBid’s equipment setup databases, helping you tighten up your bid. This lets you know that your estimated fuel costs are reasonably accurate instead of theoretical values harvested from books and manuals.
